Toby and Anton got in a door-slamming argument at bedtime, and I stayed in my room, as an experiment at letting them work it out (and also because exhaustion). Everything was quiet for a while. When I finally came out, I saw these notes for Toby, written by Anton, left in the hallway. They included a collection of treasures (including gems!), as an apology gift. “I feel bad of last night!!!” — Be still my heart.

Toby got in the tiniest bit of trouble for teasing Anton, but in true dramatic fashion, wrote this adorable apology screed, including “to be continued” and “your beloved son Tobias.”
