Always love these gift guides! An idea for 2016: gifts for couples. When you’re friends with both people in a marriage, but don’t want to deal with buying separate gifts. I’m sure this is somewhere else in the gift guide comments, but thought I’d throw it out there too. Thanks for all the inspiration throughout the year!

Oooh those mittens look heavenly! I may have to order a pair for myself! About that Ice Luge – we totally have one for ladies’ weekend that we take to the Torch Lake sand bar every summer and then race to use the luge before it melts ;) I love that you are from Michigan too!!! I bought all my female coworkers and friends adult coloring books and colored pencils for Christmas. I absolutely love mine and am excited to share them with others.

For what it’s worth, a fancy candle is a good gift for women OR men…. In fact, based on the male friends’ bathrooms I’ve encountered, it could be a better gift for a man than a woman! Haha!

These gifts are lovely and *I* would want them, but I work with a team of six who have a variety of interests.

I have a coworker who deals with autoimmune disease so often time the go-to gift for coworkers – a coffee gift card or coffee/food item – cannot be used. In the last few years, I’ve been giving fun office supplies. Last year, I bought each coworker a sweet moleskin tablet with a gel pen, and it was really great to see them using it at meetings later in the year. This year, I’m giving these with a gel pen, tied up with pretty string, and the total cost per person was like $6:

I LOVE Nordstrom because of their return policy and free shipping. I think that companies that have policies like that show that they believe in the products that they have.

I love how the popularity of adult coloring books are brought out the most amazing books to enjoy! I found that secret garden book a week ago in a little boutique and bought it for the 17 yr old on my list! I love that it can really be gifted to anyone, bridging the gap between gifts that are ‘too young’ or ‘too old’. Great suggestion!

Literally was JUST shopping for my Secret Snowflake and thinking “Does Cup of Jo have a gift guide for this?” So this post is much appreciated. BUT. Problem is, we have a 20 dollar limit at my workplace and my person is a DUDE. Even if it was in the price range he isn’t getting anything on this list! I was just thinking that if I had a woman I’d probably splurge and get her a Diptyque candle. Which is probably backwards thinking on my part, but this is a man with a guitar and a beard. Again, LOVE you ladies and I am obsessed with this blog. So with that I propose a “Secret Snowflake” installment of this lovely, awesome series. Happy Holidays. :)

So funny – my sister-in-law gave me the initial necklace for my birthday this year (because of the “one in a million” inscription on the back), and I gave her the “heart of gold” bracelet last year! Both are lovely pieces with sweet messages.

I think it is a good policy to not give presents that your co-workers have to wear – clothes, perfume, jewelry, etc.
