Last weekend, we invited three moms and four kids to spend the night…

While a regular kid sleepover makes me exhausted just thinking about, I was so energized by having moms there, too. We chatted while the children played, and it was fun to wake up with a house full of friends. It felt like traveling together, but for free.

Dinner was salad and pizza, naturally, followed by Chipwiches.

After dinner, we played hide-and-seek and did a talent show, then watched some excellent children’s programming.

Then the moms and kids piled into various beds. These two ladies tried out our new-and-improved guest room

…and spent some serious time choosing a hypothetical dog. (Also, note the scrunchie, slap bracelet and glitter nail polish. The more things change, the more they stay the same.)

The next morning, the little dudes made pancakes and eggs, and the moms poured giant cups of coffee.
