What about sitting in a cat/cow position and then pretending your back is swinging? I used to believe I could tolerate the additional weight in the photographs, but it’s all the movement that drives me insane.
I love her style!
Corpse made me laugh. 😝
If my little guy came nose to nose with me like that during sphinx, I’d be in bliss. 💕
This is all so true! Love the corpse one especially.
I started yoga when my son was a bit older than a toddler, but I can still relate to this because of my cats! They hear me unroll my mat and come running. They keep me company and try to join in haha!
Exactly. You made my day! Thank you, Becky!
Haha this is my daughter and me whenever I do yoga in the same room.
Haha! This takes me back to when my son was little! Welcome!
Hahaha Welcome Becky!!
Welcome Becky!
I do relate with my cat, who always stuffed herself up my face when I was doing downward dog. And if she installed herself on top of me and started purring, I couldnt help to stop, whatever the pose, to enjoy the hug.
haha i always joke that my favorite yoga poses are corpse, child’s pose, and happy baby
Haha my daughter and I have been in all of these exact poses together.
My mom does not do yoga, but I think she can absolutely relate to this. My sisters and I would NOT leave her alone when we were growing up. My nieces and nephew are definitely similar. My sisters and I like to trade back rubs when visiting one another. The kids are always up in our business, laying on legs. Faces in faces. Etc.
you could also substitute a dog for the child, and it would still be accurate!
agree! I would only add a slide of my dog licking my armpit every time I try to do an arm balance haha – truly hope everyone’s children refrain from that kind of behavior, but who knows! :)
Yep, this is pretty much what happens when I try to do yoga around my kids. Also, my cat — he gets very excited by downward dog.
What about the combo of sitting on your back in cat/cow, and then acting like your back is swing. In the pictures, I used to think I could handle the extra weight, but it’s all the movement that drives me bonkers
Haha, this is perfect! I can relate.
I’ve even tried doing Cosmic Yoga (YouTube) with the kids and it still ends up exactly this way (no shade on Cosmic Yoga; my kids loved it. I just shouldn’t do it at the same time.).
Although Milly didn't recognize me, she told me it was "marvelous" to be together. And that was more than enough.
Toby, Anton and I are very excited for these three movies...
