9 Easy Date Night Looks

I just went on a little poshmark shopping spree specifically for 100% linen tops. I am passionate about natural fibers and have just gotten into the mindful mending movement to extend the life of some of the clothes we have. I bought a jcrew perfect fit buttondown in navy, a mao collar linen oat colored button down, a white Eileen Fisher cami with a knit linen sweater that had a hood, a black JJill peplum top with 3/4 sleeves. I thought those could be dressed up or down and I was digging the minimal color scheme I got. I appreciated getting the items I wanted second hand and a little cheaper. I’m about in my third trimester now with three other children 4 and under! Pregnancy and breastfeeding has taken my fashion mind for a loop. Linen has proved to be a stain friendly fiber for me (the looser more substantial weave maybe?) For special occasions I have some Doen outfits collected since their first summer collection. On the daily though it’s linen tops with linen capris and leather sandals of some type. I’m always wearing the same pearl studs my husband gave me on my 21st birthday on a trip to upstate NY and I LOVE my ring game these days. I bought myself 4 Kelci Potter rings to represent each of my children https://www.kelcipotter.com, a vintage men’s gold wedding ring as my wedding band and a family gemstone band ring from my Mamaw that has my grandparents, father, and aunts and uncles birthstones! I stack a few together and sometimes change the layout but I’m always wearing the same set of jewelry. Sometimes I imagine my cup of jo week of outfits or beauty routine post :) just tap my shoulder any time! I’m a mountain mama on a farm in the VA blue ridge keeping up with the world at large through Cup of Jo! Love you guys!!

Lovely looks! I recently had a baby and am wearing the same look constantly- a stretchy T-shirt I can pull up to nurse. Would love to see a post on nursing friendly fashion- I need some inspiration!

Ah, your description of a summer night is so dreamy. With a 3 month old and a 2 year old (I.e., too tired to stay up til the sun sets, haha), I am feeling so nostalgic for those times. Maybe someday….
