I gave my brother several gift certificates to Herb and Lou’s infused cubes
for Hanukkah this year. Every time I speak to him he asks me “where did you find these?”

Curious about the Kettle in the Canyon Coffee pic. Where is it from?
Well I can’t believe no-one else has mentioned the beard hat! Clearly I’m the only one still living in 2010 ?
Wait a minute… where’s the Islandic Beard Cap?!?!??! ;)
*icelandic!
I have 4 little brothers and they are my favorite grownups. Love these suggestions for them!
These are wonderful ideas! Perfect for my brother! Especially the hot sauce. Haha!
A No Phone, to poke fun at him for being on his phone too much

That’s so funny
My younger brother and I don’t have this great relationship, although I think he would fancy that lovely sweater. I want to suggest a Charity Gift from Unicef. You folks in the USA can visit http://www.market.unicefusa.org/inspired-gifts/. They’re great for Secret Santa too.
nice list:D
What a mainstream headline for this (brother=guy=car magazines, seriously? I know better from CoJ)…good gifts though!
In past comment sections the team has explained these titles are made from her actual relationship with her brother. He may just be a mainstream kinda guy. ;)
yes, the titles are all based on my actual family members. my dad and brother are obsessed with cars, and my dad actually works in the automotive industry. you should see his BOXES of car magazines in the basement! :)
Consider this my annual OCD contribution to COJ: The circle honeycomb is driving me crazy. It’s such waste to cut circles instead of squares! What do they do with the rest?
I am really cheered by your commitment to this. No reason to lose sight of the little things that ain’t so little! And now I’m also wondering where the corners go ?
As a beekeeper I can assure you they are not going to waste. More than likely the extra pieces as spun in a centrifuge to remove the honey from the wax. Wax is in high demand and sold by the pound, as is the honey. ?
Haha I noticed that too! ? And I don’t get honeycomb as a food product – who wants to eat wax??
We are beekeepers and we waste nothing. To get the round comb honey, a system is used called Ross Round frames where the round molds are placed in the frame and when ready to harvest, you can take a round comb for use.
No worries! As a beekeeper, I can tell you a special series of round molds are used called a Ross Round that is placed on the frame in the hive.
Can I just say, I love how many beekeepers there are on this chain? Too cool!
YES to the book Less! It’s the best book I’ve read in a very long time. The writing is excellent and laugh-out-loud funny and the story is sweet.
A banana phone is a good one for brothers too! Will make him and all his friends laugh :) https://www.amazon.com/Banana-Phone-Wireless-Bluetooth-Handset/dp/B0761VVFDX
I think you just solved a Secret Santa conundrum for me!!!!
Perfect gifts!!
Oh how delightful to see a picture of Sunrise Arch in Canyonlands (I have a special little framed snapshot I look at daily). One of the most amazing places in the whole world. My teen daughters and I spent a very chilly night camping in Canyonlands one spring break. I woke them before the sun came up and literally drug them into the truck to get to the arch in time, so much grumpiness I can’t even tell you. Then we got there and ran, me dragging again, trying to beat the damn sun, and then “OOOOHHHHHH!” and stunned silence. Just awe. Sitting together, all huddled in the cold, soaking it in.
A donation in someone dear’s name to help protect these sacred places is the best gift ever imho. Thank you for including!!
I heart this too. We took our kids to this spot last spring break and it’s magical. Love our national parks.
Another gift for brothers… Patagonia released their classic Synchilla snap fleece in PANTS! My boyfriend won’t take his off, they are so cozy and warm… so I bought them for my brother for Christmas, they’re going to be a hit when he’s home from college on break and lounging around the house
these are amazing! thank you!
OMG, I want those!
Ooh I want to read the book about the storm chaser!! Love a good storm :-D. Apple headphones are the actual worst though. They’re overpriced and they leak sound and all of us on public transport have to listen to the tinny nonsense emanating from them because people who have them don’t realise :-P Also I don’t understand how this specific type don’t fall out of peoples’ heads?!
I actually love my Airpods. Use them at my desk every day. Never have heard of them leaking sound or anyone complain about that. They have never fallen out and they’d make a great gift!
Agree agree agreeeee
love the pizza socks!!
Me too!
I refresh this site like hourly in the weeks before Christmas to get ideas. Waiting (im)patiently for the one for dads!
Same, Emily! Dads are so hard!!
Yes, why are Dad’s so hard. Since I was a little kid I would ask my Dad what he would like and his response was always, “aluminum foil.” One of my nieces, when she was little actually got it for him.
My dad is a quiet introvert who doesn’t like to leave his zip code or try anything too new. He’s midwest born and bred, living that republican lifestyle in California, surrounded by an entirely liberal family. He is the HARDEST to get for and he is always so thoughtful about what other people need. He knows what you need before you even need it. HELP!
Wow, these are truly the best gifts for anyone! I want them all!
