Throwback sweaters

Though I’ve been known to wear sweaters year round, it’s finally the time I can do so without questioning from every person I know. This season’s batch of pullovers has throwback details, like graphic prints and cable knits large enough to remind you of the sweater greats, while still being wearable with jeans. Here are five versions: crewneck, rollneck, pumpkin, starry and textured.

Megababe best natural deodorant rosy pits

I’ve been hearing the praise of this natural rose deodorant for weeks, and the 148 five-star reviews finally sold me. Usually, natural deodorants irritate my skin or truly don’t work, but fans are calling this “the best one yet,” and noting that it “works ALL-DAY.” This stick is made with a blend of natural ingredients, including sage, green tea and sandalwood. Plus, it’s called “Rosy Pits.”

Serial

Have you been listening to any podcasts lately? I’m back on my crime drama kick and just devoured the terrifying Dr. Death, which follows a neurosurgeon who intentionally botched medical procedures. I’ve also dug into the first episodes of the new season of Serial, where reporters Sarah Koenig and Emmanuel Dzotsi investigate stories that take place inside the criminal court system of Cleveland, Ohio. I’m looking forward to a few new ones, including The Cut on Tuesdays (hosted by New York Magazine’s Molly Fischer), Last Seen (it unravels the biggest unsolved art heist in history) and Without Fail (Gimlet founder Alex Blumberg interviews leaders and entrepreneurs about their successes and mistakes).

Low beds

This sunny home is a reminder that neutrals aren’t boring and low beds make your ceiling look light years away. The color palette of white, beige and gray feels fresh when paired with cool shapes, like the twisty lamp, and it makes the room look HUGE. Noted.

P.S. More fun things, including a tip that changes your career.
