With spring officially here (at least as far as the calendar is concerned), we’re excited to start dressing lighter and brighter. So, this past weekend we went shopping with two friends, Alex and Christina, to try on pieces from Sézane’s spring collection. Here’s what they chose…
We met at L’Appartement New York, Sézane’s beautiful store in downtown Manhattan. We’ve always loved Sézane pieces for their easy, French style. (How cute is this?)
Alex was looking for work clothes for her office job in the beauty industry…
While Christina was browsing for date night looks.
After perusing a bunch of different options, it was time to try things on.
Alex’s first look was this navy dress, with pockets! (Few things are better than dresses with pockets.) “I love dresses for work, especially when the weather gets warmer,” she said. “You don’t have to think about getting dressed — you just put them on and go.”
Next, she tried a jeans-and-blouse combo, to wear on casual Fridays. “When shopping for jeans, it’s always helpful to try them sitting down, standing up, wandering around…” she explained.
“This outfit feels like ‘me,'” she said. “It’s effortless, and I love the detailing on the back.”
Meanwhile, Christina was gravitating towards fun patterns. “My daily uniform is T-shirts and jeans, but for nights out, I like mixing bolder prints,” she said, pairing this striped top with a sequined mini skirt.
Next, she tried a floaty dress with comfy ballerina flats.
“Dresses are great for dates, but they have to be comfortable,” Christina said. “I want to be ready for adventures!”
Which of these looks are your favorites? You can see the entire Sézane collection here.
Thank you to Sézane for such a fun morning!
