Can you believe it’s already November? We’ve been brainstorming holiday gifts, but I already know one thing I’ll be giving my parents: photo books with them and the boys. The process was super simple, they were under $10 each and I’m thrilled with how they turned out. Here’s a peek, if you’d like to see…
The inside of my dad’s book. (He never turns down requests for shoulder rides!)
Pinhole Press, our longtime favorite for photo gifts, just debuted their new Petite Layflat Photo Books. They were easy to put together ― you can upload photos directly from your phone, computer or Instagram account ― and Pinhole offers great choices for layouts and customized text.
All told, you get a beautiful 20-page book for $9.99 featuring up to 40 favorite photos.
Three things I especially love about these books: They have a soft cover, so you can throw one in your bag without adding bulk (I know my mom is going to carry hers!); their layflat construction means you can enjoy the beautiful two-page photo spreads (some of our photos stretch across both pages); and their small size. At just five inches square, they’re portable, great for little kids’ hands and fit easily on your coffee table.
And for ourselves, I was excited to make a couple books with scenes from everyday life around Brooklyn and our family vacation to Italy last summer.
Would you like to make some? Today, Pinhole Press is giving Cup of Jo readers 10% off of any Petite Layflat order, through midnight this Sunday. Just use the code PETITE10 at checkout to get the discount. Imagine being done with a bunch of your holiday gifts this week! :)
Thanks so much, Pinhole! See their other holiday cards and gift ideas, too, if you’d like.
