So great! That memoir reminds me of the movie I just watched – The Founder, about the “founder” of McDonald’s. He was much older.
Completely agree with the documentary one! Spot on!
“Truth-filled coming-of-age story that won’t upset me because no animals get hurt or die, and nobody else gets sick or dies, either.”
Mari is so clever!
I look forward to these illustrations every week! I always forget it’s a “Friday” thing and get a wonderful surprise when I click to your site. She always gets it right and this is no exception. Has me laughing/smiling every time.
Always love these little illustrations – so sweet! The documentary one is spot on – there are specific movies I avoid watching because I KNOW I won’t be able to eat anything if I watch them. ;)
Love!!
I need the memoirs makes me feel better about my timeline! :)
Yes to the documentary one!
These are so spot on! <3
I would add: “very spooky movie that will give me the shivers, but is not gory and does not have any psychologically disturbing scenes like kidnapping that could occur in real life, which would render me super paranoid and even more neurotic than I already am.”
YAS!
Hahaha, YES!!
Haha! The best kind of cookbook…
Yes!!! I NEED to know if a movie is going to make me cry or not. ha!
Did you see the Cooked series on Netflix? It’s a food documentary series that made me so hungry and appreciative and NOT feel guilty (except maybe about not enjoying my food more slowly).
Ha! Mari is the best.
