In 2013, when her daughter was born, my friend Alex co-founded the sweetest company, Bitsy’s Brainfood, which makes organic snacks for kids. Toby and Anton have long ADORED their alphabet-shaped cookies, and they’ve had a special spot in our cupboard for years.
Bitsy’s just came out with crackers made with organic vegetables, like sweet potatoes and carrots. They’re tangram-shaped, so you can play with them — making boats or cars or houses or dinosaurs. Our boys love them, and we pack them in school lunches and have them with hummus and apples after school. (Each serving of crackers contains half a serving of vegetables.) The flavors are Maple Carrot Crisp, Cheddar Chia Veggie and Sweet Potato Cinna-Graham.
Bitsy’s Smart Crackers are available at your local Target store and online. (Bitsy’s was actually handpicked as one of 20 natural, organic and sustainable brands for Target’s 2016 Made to Matter collection.)
Today, they’re giving TWO readers an amazing package with eight boxes of Bitsy’s crackers, cookies and cereals, plus a $50 Target gift card. To enter, please visit their site and then post a comment below. Winners will be chosen at random this Thursday. Update: The winners have been emailed. Thanks for playing!
Thank you so much, Bitsy’s! We love you.
