Joanna, Threes Brewing in Gowanus is pretty new and wonderful–the food is delicious and the beers are EXCELLENT! Definitely check it out.

The photos in that post about Swedish dads are beautiful. I also just read that Sweden introduced a new gender-neutral pronoun to their dictionary. They’re really winning gender equality!

If you haven’t already, you have to check out Black Forest Brooklyn in Fort Greene! They have really great food and beer! Good prices. And the owners’ story is super cute, too.

Have you been to The Well yet? They have 60+ taps and feature some really interesting beers. Their food is good too! If you go, I highly recommend ordering the chickpea fritters :)

You’re very close to Buschenschank, which has a great beer selection and is a great place to take kids. I also like DKB in Boerum Hill, which has awesome pretzels!

I’ve been using the Moment app and it’s really sobering how much I’m on my phone. I have a daily limit and it’s fun trying to stay under it. It’s crazy how often I was mindlessly browsing on my phone. I really feel like it’s given me real time back (such a gift!) by making me conscious of how much time I’m really on my phone. Now I try to just answer texts and post a few things here and there. Anyone wanting more time should really try it out. I give my son a certain amount of screen time (computers, tv, tablet) because I don’t think it’s good for him to be on there for too long… so it only makes sense I do the same for myself.
