I love New York, but it can be loud, dirty and gross. This NYC tourism ad written by comedian Daniel Hubbard made me laugh out loud.
P.S. 9 crazy things about NYC.

Hahah, this cracked me up!
I love this!! The part with the umbrella is too funny – I definitely remember inadvertently swiping a few people while walking down the street!

Love it! Have some good ideas for a part 2, too…
Ha! So true. Reminds me of this old one about Cleveland, which I still watch at least once a year because it doesn’t get old for me! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DoZzgAjjuqZM
YES. this is gold
Aw, this video made me miss living in New York. I live in LA now and all the terrible things that made me want to move out of NYC are what makes it special! (Although driving to Whole Foods/Trader Joe’s and having a serene, Samuel L. Jackson-shopping-alongside-you-at-the-meat-counter grocery shopping experience and then putting everything in your car afterward are luxuries I’ll never tire of!)
Haha, this is very much like London. I was walking down Oxford Street the other day surrounded by people amazed by the christmas decorations, when someone accidentally bumped into a guy.. and in retaliation he threw a pint of beer in his face and started shouting. Crazy!
I suppose it’s not really important since it’s just a silly ad but it’s glaringly homogenous! NY is more than just hip, middle class white kids with Liberal Arts degrees.
ahahaha! This was indeed brilliant. I am still giggling. It’s funny, because it’s true. Although to be entirely honest, New York isn’t always that bad. I have met some wonderful and polite strangers on the streets too. I love the diversity, the energy, that there is always something interesting to do and eat and how it changes image and character in almost every turn.
We were so happy to be back in New York in October. We love the energy of the city, it’s such a refreshing change from Paris!

Hilarious!!
LOL … I will always remember my first step into a deep puddle of slush in NYC … It is something that I guess, stays with anyone who has done it. shudder …… brrrrrr……
Hahaha!!! Loved it!
As I consider moving to NYC…this is HILARIOUS. HA!
OMG!!!!!! This is totally hilarious!
Great ad, could just as easily apply to London, except maybe more gentle eyebrow raises. You definitely wouldn’t lay on the pavements, I mean sidewalks!
The subway is so loud!! Lol
This is so funny…. (coming from a NYer.)

I love this!! Thanks for sharing – love nyc but sometimes its a lot of crazy.

New York. It’s for the very young or the very rich. I love it.
Ain’t it the truth! A colleague from London visited this week and he said, “I stepped into the street, or what I thought was the street, and I was ankle deep in a puddle!” I just laughed and welcomed him to the snowy, slushy city.
I love all the swearing hostility with a smile. ;)
