How beautiful is this sailboat kite? You can fly it outside or use it as decor.
I believed in Peter Pan until I was embarrassingly old (and waited every night for him to come to my window), so this kite takes me back!

That kite is amazing! Very Peter Pan like indeed!
wow so cool
What a dreamy kite! However, re: Peter Pan, I’m newly terrified of him after this season of once upon a time. It changes the whole story to be much more sinister, and I’ll never think of it the same way!
Just bought an indigo kite from Haptic Lab – and their customer service is amazing!
Love this!
Dreamy and cool! I’m going to wait and buy the Ship of Theseus for my dad!
Totally like Peter Pan!
I own this kite…such a beautiful decor addition. For any in NYC, you can buy it at Cat Bird in Williamsburg.
So wonderful! Too late to get it for Christmas, but my son’s b-day is in the windy season so we’ll try in out on the beach in a couple of months!
Last year, I was feeling overly ambitious and tried to make a kite for my little ones. The scene that followed at the park (packed with onlookers, of course!) was just a bit embarrassing when it fell apart on our first try :)
But this kite looks amazing and is definitely on our list! Thanks for sharing.
Did you see the DIY and City quilts on the Haptic Lab site? MY OH MY. Lovely. Great gift idea. Oh how I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog. Lynda Fitzgerald
I got one of these for my husband on our anniversary. We have yet to fly it, but it looks beautiful hanging in our dining room!
joanna. me, too! i used to leave my window open for him, no matter what season. flying boy to have adventures with on a secret island? still sounds pretty amazing. thanks for sharing this!
I have that kite hanging in our room/nursery! I even painted it with some watercolors. You can check it out here https://aparalleloflatitude.squarespace.com/blog/2013/9/13/a-peek-at-the-nursery
OMGosh this is the most amazing sailboat kite I’ve seen. I used to see a lot in the beaches of Bali when we were based in Indonesia, but having it with all white sails is so pretty!
So beautiful! Real return to the childhood! And an amazing decor item!! xx

Speaking of Peter Pan, every theatre production of Peter Pan that comes to London does a performance of scenes from their show at Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital (where JM Barrie gave the copyright of the book too). I’ve been there myself with version of PP and its wonderful and incredibly moving
Kites are mesmerizing to begin with, but man I could watch that kite fly for hours!
wow- it gives me the chills!
I love this! I have always been a fan of sailboats aesthetically. I have no other connection to sailboats, but I want this now!
Your believing in Peter Pan–that is the sweetest thing. Ace is in the midst of a major Pan/Hook obsession (and I love it!). x
So cool! Very Peter Pan-y :)
Wow, how beautiful! I would love to get this for my nephew one day.
this is amazing!!!!! :):) such a dream…
