What a brilliant idea: Put a chopstick in actual yogurt and freeze for happy kiddos.

There are different kinds of ice cream but thats the most delicious and healty frozen yogurt that I have ever been eaten! Everyone have to taste it!
Wow, this is such a nice idea by Kare! Good thing you shared it with us, Joanna. It’s usually hard to feed kids something healthy because they don’t like it. But with this, I don’t think it’d be a problem. It would be a nice surprise for the kids as it is playful in terms of colors and flavors. Thanks for sharing!

Best Frozen Yogurt
I know this is meant for toddlers… But I could really eat one of those right now!
Indeed, great idea even for adults! I’m thinking of trying vanilla yogurt. I’ve actually wondered why good yogurt brands don’t make frozen yogurt under the same brand?
This is such a good idea even for adults!

I mix yoghurt with nutella and put the mixture in popsicle molds for a really yummy and relatively healthy treat.
Your post really made me smile :) I’m from Germany and I grew up with a yogurt for kids called “Fruchtzwerge” (fruit-dwarfs), it’s supposed to contain loads of calcium, on TV they always say that it’ll help you grow tall and strong hihi. Anyway, for summer, they always switch to this commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-zVjTN5zik and as I kid, I always put one of the sticks in it and froze it, it was my go-to snack :)
Ooo I am doing this for myself!
That’s a great idea!!! thanks for sharing… Ill keep this in mind for myself in the summer ;-)
ah… simply brilliant!!
Thanks for sharing, Joanna. Hope you are enjoying your vacation in S.F.:)

I agree with Jessie hahaha…
I’m going to try that at home today! (i’m serious)
what a great idea!
ooh! super cute! don’t have a toddler, but i’m pretty sure i’d enjoy those too ;)
I do this with ice cube trays and plastic toddler spoons. My daughter loves it and it is perfect for teething.
Who says this is just for toddlers? I think I’d love it, too!
or for happy adults….
or for happy adults….
My childhood summers consisted of this, all the time!
I do that for myself! haha!

Making Life’s Lemons
I say use spoons instead
Much less dangerous…
Spoons also hold the yogurt really well, I have been doing this since I was a kid… Pudding Popsicles too!
Perfect! My boys have already been asking for popsicles… I will try this instead!
We stick the yogurt tubes (like these: http://www.horizondairy.com/products/yogurt/surfin-strawberry/) in the freezer for push-up popsicles! They’re a huge hit and my 3 year old thinks that they are a great treat. They’re super easy to eat, no need for sticks, and don’t take up a lot of room in the freezer. If they get too cold for little hands, just wrap the bottom in a dry towel.
Brilliant!
And definitely much healthier than the store bought version : )
I do that… for me! ;)
okay, i’m trying this. also, i bought two of those brag books you recommended (one for my mom, one for my mother in law) and absolutely love them! they’re such good quality and reasonably priced. thank you!
My mom used to do that when I was a child – I loved it, yummy memories!
Great idea! Will you have a Mother’s Day gift guide this week? You have the best ideas! I used many of your Christmas gift ideas for those I love. Including a “Dry Bar” gift card and cooking classes for my NYC based sister.
I don’t have any toddlers to feed, but this looks a great idea for myself! When I was a kid I remember I couldn’t get enough of frozen gogurts (is that how you spell them??) – definitely would take me down memory lane! Thanks for sharing :) -Court
As a kid I did a lot of that and also ice cubes orange juice. In the warmer months it tasted so good.

I am not a toddler, nor do I have one…but I really want to try this anyway!
Such a great idea!

Ridiculous easy = GENIUS. Thanks!
go with the popsicle sticks… MUCH safer …a.k.a less headaches after the treat is eaten.
You could probably even use baby spoons, easier for tiny hands to hold themselves.
Genius! I just so happen to have a small container of greek yogurt in the fridge :)
So easy! You could also use popsicle sticks (shorter). Looks yummy!
Good for hungry adults too! Have you tried greek yogurt (with the fruit on the bottom) in the freezer? It’s delicious!
That is a wicked idea! Thank you for sharing :)
