By the wonderful Grace Farris.
P.S. Shakespeare’s witches and ancient Greek parenting.
love the comic, love the comments! + had fun looking up more Shakepearean insults (“Thou whoreson zed, thou unnecessary letter!” – King Lear)
We love Shakespeare in our family. When we’re in a rush out the door and a child says, “Mom we need to go!” My reply is usually, “I go, I go; look how I go! Swifter than arrow from the Tartar’s bow.” My kids have picked up this habit and it’s one of my favorite things.
Haha–this is the best! :)
I love this so much!! More!!
We have a Shakespeare insult generator book and it is wonderful!
My dad went so far as to stick a Shakespeare quote on my bedroom mirror: “How sharper than a serpent’s tooth it is to have a thankless child!”
Many times I looked at my kids’ friends and thought “though she be but little, she is fierce!”
Perfect!
hahaha! Awesome :)
I love this one!
I got my kids a dish towel with Shakespearean insults on it as a joke gift last Christmas. We now say things to each other like “Not so much brain as EAR WAX” and “I wish that we may be better strangers.” :)
We need a link to these towels!
Those towels! Ah ah
My best friend was getting married in New York, so I treated myself to a blowout...
11 gifts for sisters, like a buttery cheese and the perfect white shirt.
