Over the years, the boys and I have baked lots of things — strawberry cake, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin pie — but our favorite one to make, by far?
A key lime pie. Because the recipe has so many fun things to do: crush graham crackers, press them into a pie dish, crack eggs, grate limes, pour, stir, measure, whip…it’s just a really kid-friendly process. Plus, the pie tastes so bright and fresh and zippy on dreary days.
Little chefs.
Little eaters.
Please share: What dessert recipes do you like making with kids? As the weather gets colder, we’re eager for recs! xoxo
P.S. Hosting a cookie swap, and a crackly, gooey pistachio cake.
