I am spring weekend mum! I’m not sure how the cardi as shirt works, but I am willing to give it a go.

I’m still curious about the lightbulb thing?? I only change mine when one burns out. Is this not normal? Am I a lightbulb freak?!? Hahaha
I assumed she just meant changing bulbs she needs to that have been out for a while. For example, my oven light has been out for a month and I’m sure I’ll change it in a cleaning fervor sometime in the coming weeks.

My Weekend Mom:
12 hour day in the recording studio
Avoiding making any meals at all costs
Playing music with my kiddo
Drinking wine and reading Angela Davis’ autobiography while it rains.
There are all kinds of great moms out there!
Agree. Will probably try to become a mom soon, and these comics make me a little scared of what my life will look like.

Love the sentiments but what is the reason for changing the lightbulbs? Do people use different lightbulbs when it’s cold vs. warmer weather? Is it an aesthetic or energy-related thing? Or is this a general spring cleaning kind of thing?
I think it just means ones that have burned out and not yet been replaced!

This is me! In Australia we are in Autumn (Fall) and all these things apply just add she might make an apple pie or she might buy some fancy hot cross buns.
It is such a relief to remember that it’s always apple pie season somewhere on Earth :)
…Actually, it’s so freakin’ cold here, I might make an apple pie this weekend!

I’m dividing and repotting a bromeliad that’s run amok (Bromy became Bromy and Michelle), and I lopped the sleeves and hem off a concert tee so I can roll around the neighborhood in it and leggings like the yoga roadie I apparently am. LOOK OUT.

I’m already laughing hysterially at the idea of the expression on my teen daughters faces when I tell them that yes, I AM going out of the house wearing leggings and this old favorite t-shirt because I’m going for the yoga roadie look.

My weekend plans lol. Two more weekends of ski trips and then it can be spring! (LOL who am I kidding, spring doesn’t come in Vermont until mid May.)
Yes, it’s the same in Québec! I always remind myself that we can get snow til mid-April, so eve though it might techically be “spring,” what I consider spring starts way later. :) It’s a very short spring, haha!
We have -15C and kilometers of snow. I still want to do all those things

Hehe, I can wholly relate. I’m living in my parents’ home for a few weeks while our home is renovated and I’m making a few little adjustments so their home is cosier for them, when they return. Upgrading lightbulbs (farewell cool light, hello warm) is at the top of my list this weekend xx

I’ve killed all my plants year after year, but I might paint each fingernail a pastel shade like Selena Gomez and schedule a carpet cleaning/window cleaning service! Even though we got 6 inches of snow last night….
Three out of four were already on my list for this weekend. Maybe I should change some lightbulbs, too…

Yes, currently mending a ripped knee on my son’s snow pants while we get a foot of snow because I know spring is still at least a couple months away and we need these pants to last through a few more sledding runs, snowshoe treks, etc.
Oh my gosh, I literally did every single one of these last few days ha. ha. Guilty and loving it!
