Not pregnant, but it looks so enticing… I would miss cuddling my hubs, though! I bet it would be nice to have on the the nights he’s away traveling for work.
Couldn’t wait to be done with the pregnancy pillow!!! It was helpful while pregnant but I’m normally a stomach sleeper (and now frustrated to find that I still can’t sleep on my stomach due to breast feeding – the few times I’ve tried, I’ve gotten clogs and also woken up in a wet spot.) I don’t like snuggling while sleeping – I need my space – and the pillow felt like a third person in bed with us (we actually named mine Gabe lol – became a running joke with my husband). I’m keeping mine since we plan to have a second kid but I have a love/hats e relationship with it for sure.
Yes!!! I loved my pregnancy pillow during my first pregnancy, and my husband wasn’t a huge fan. LOL. We share a queen sized bed, and it takes up about 70% of the bed space. I’m pregnant again, and I’ve told myself that I would wait a couple more weeks before pulling it out, but I am counting down the days…..
Truer words have never been spoken!
I am, and will forever be, a childless lady so I was stoked when I got an ad for a “pregnancy” pillow for everyone! The company is called Coziest and it has taken my couch game up to professional levels. Highly recommend, friends!
I have not one but TWO gigantic body pillows that I sleep with every night. In our bed itās pillow, me, pillow, boyfriend. I love them so much that my boyfriend has nicknamed the pillows āthe boyfriendsā and we joke that we have a polyamorous relationship.
Oh yeahhhhh, keep the pillow! I had a huge one, it was 360 with an “escape hatch” opening. It saved my sleep for the last half of pregnancy. I foolishly gave it away…and missed it like crazy. A dozen pillows could not replace it. I finally broke down and bought another one (with memory foam!), this one is only candy cane shaped, but I love it like along lost pet, and once again, I can sleep on either side without wrangling a dozen little pillows. KEEP YOUR PREG PILLOW!
What in the world! Just Googled. They didn’t have these while I was pregnant! I’m ordering myself one.
Haha this is funny to me even though I hated my pregnancy pillow. Maybe I got a bad one. I had already given it away before my second pregnancy and my second pregnancy happened when my first was only 8 months old.
I still lament the day I brought my pregnancy pillow to Goodwill!
My pregnancy pillow is now an enormous “snake stuffie” for my 3 kids…my youngest wraps himself up in it to look at books, and nothing is cuter!
My son took my pregnancy pillow shortly after my daughter was born- 6 years later and heās still in love with it and Iām still missing it!
I’m sure the illustrator is drawing on her own experience, but every week these are about motherhood/pregnancy. Would be nice to switch it up a bit for those who cannot relate/wish they could relate.
thank you for the thoughtful feedback, Debbie. we will start mixing them up.
Agreed, i actually donāt get this one at all and cane to the comments to see if I could piece it together! Mission accomplished either way I guess hahaha

My husband likes to hug something to sleep and I’m not a cuddler, so for Christmas last year I bought him a Coop body pillow. I can’t decide if it’s the best or worst gift I’ve given him ā he loves it, but it will forever feel like we’re sharing the bed with a third person. ><
My 3-year-old son loves the pregnancy pillow. He keeps calling it his cat basket (heās the cat!).
My son is 8 years old and I still have my pregnancy pillow š
I have seriously consider re-purchasing one of these pillows!! Hello, old best friend!
Sooooo true! My pregnancy pillow had a permanent spot on my couch
That made me laugh out loud ! After i stopped breastfeeding my mother stole my pregnancy pillow and had it with her until her dying day and then my dad could not sleep without it. He s 92. It s a cult.
There’s no going back. I mistakenly gave away my pregnancy pillow and now I need 3-4 pillows a night to achieve the same effect.
Of course, now I understand that there’s an underlying *reason* for that “A million decorative pillows” thing you see in magazines and catalogues! Ah, the wisdom of age.
Ha! I donāt sleep with mine anymore but I am irrationally keeping it in the closet and itās HUGE. I canāt seem to get rid of it!
Oh my goodness!!!!
This so true…except the pillows have multiplied…lol.
Happy day to you

I remember telling a friend when I was pregnant that I slept with 8 pillows. She kindly suggested a pregnancy pillow to decrease the load. I let her know that the HUGE pregnancy pillow was already included in the pillow amount. I had 7 pillows and 1 pregnancy pillow. I was basically standing up when I slept and still not comfortable.
I donāt know if you meant that to be funny but it really really is. Standing up when you sleptā¦..what a visual. Made me laugh.
Haha this is far too timely, as I sit on the couch, my three week old snuggled on my belly, literally just debating getting rid of my pregnancy pillow “for space”… Reader, I will not get rid of the pillow!
