I like chatty walk with my friends! :)))
When I walk with my husband he calls it a
“Walk, gawk and talk”. I love to walk in my sweet little town and admire homes for their flowers, plants, porches, garden art and architecture. And I’ll stop and talk to anyone who’s in their front yard so I can tell them how much I admire their flowers, plants, porches, yard art and architecture. Thus I take a lot of walks alone.
Reading this made me realize that I need to take more walks! I really enjoy them but got out of practice a bit; I love the idea of podcast walks!
The twice daily walk with the dog, with a friend or my mother or an audiobook in my ears…
Haha, been-there-done-that to all four. Grace is such a brilliant observer of life. Love it!

Podcast walks! Nothing like giggling to myself on the sidewalk. And, in the winter, what my friend and I call “Nordic Walks,” bundled up and traipsing together through the woods or along the beach, enjoying the winter sun. Nordic Walks must end with a stop for hot chocolates.
I’m capable of doing at least three at a time. May be sometimes all four!

I take “these mon won’t poké themselves” walks, wherein I make up nominal errands for myself and just, let’s be honest, walk around my neighborhood playing Pokémon Go. It’s been an A+ pandemic stress reliever, and I have made my peace with being a grown-ass woman who exchanges virtual stickers with strangers and curses aloud at Charizards.
