I’d love to see you do less promotion of buying stuff… it’s ethically dubious to encourage such rampant consumerism with the environmental problems we have! Perhaps you could do a post about ‘buy nothing day’? I appreciate CoJ gets income from sponsored posts but could you strike a balance? Love the blog, have been reading for almost a decade!
I love the sweaters in the top photo! Where are those from?
Madewell!
Thanks! I got a few things from Primary for my girls – my first order! Looking forward to trying them out. :)
Thank you for the roundup!
The sweaters in the photo feel like a throwback to what Delia’s used to sell, but these are more grown up. Did anyone else want everything in the Delia’s and Alloy catalogs when they were teens?
My junior homecoming dress was from Delias and I was sooo excited to wear it!
yes lived for that catalog, but don’t think i ever bought anything. ha!
My first job in NYC while going to school there was working at the Delia’s catalog taking orders over the phone. I think I lasted a week!
Is Madewell a sponsor? Cup of Jo really promotes them, but there hasn’t been any acknowledgement of a paid relationship. I’m just a longtime reader who likes Madewell style and I have been wondering.
no, we just love them!
My entire wardrobe is slowly becoming Madewell lol (give or take the odd Amour Vert, Anthro or Everlane purchase) I wonder what percentage of Madewell’s business is to 30/40 somethings in SF/NYC/LA/Chicago haha.
