Plaid
Once again, the crisp weather mainstay is everywhere this season. This cozy button-down is the kind of piece you can wear on repeat, with jeans or black pants. It works for everything — from wearing to the office, running errands around town or picking apples.

Summery florals are taking a moody turn for fall, and we are so here for it. Dark floral dresses work equally well with bare legs now and black tights later. They instantly make blue jeans feel 1000 times more romantic, no matter where you’re headed.
Jewel Tones
These rich colors — like emerald green, ruby red and sapphire blue — are the perfect way to liven up your wardrobe (and lift your spirits!) once the weather turns colder. You could wear this dress, with its sweetheart neckline and puffed sleeves, on date nights or parties during the holiday season. Jewel tones work just as well in soft, sweater-y knits and even coats or jackets.
