Our boys haven’t been in cribs for years, but I still find the patterned sheets painfully adorable. (Cue the ache!;) If you have a little one at home, here are 12 sheets they might like…
Do you have a baby in your household? What crib sheets do you use? These giraffes are cute, too.
P.S. 12 shared kids rooms, and our experience sleep training with Toby.

I am always in search of crib sheets for the Stokke! Love the crib but cannot find many sheets for it. Instead I just end up sewing my own.
Loving the “elevated tie dye” look for sheets and have found a couple shops on Etsy I like – Anna Joyce does such pretty, subtle work for larger beds (https://www.etsy.com/shop/annajoyce), and for kids/babies I like Ponytail Jackson (https://www.etsy.com/shop/PonytailJackson) and Summer North (https://www.etsy.com/shop/SummerNorthGoods
Can anyone recommend printed sheets like this for adult sized beds – whimsical and practical?
I have a 2 month old and my favorite of his sheets are these, but anything from Hello Spud is sweet. Makes a great photo background too. :)

Man I wish those muslin crocodile sheets came in twin size for my little 6 yr old!! They are the cutest!
As an aside, would love to see a home tour on a family with kids! I find my house more and more cluttered with the many toddler toys and there must be a way to make it beautiful and still have it accessible to my kiddo.
A daily struggle.. I always thought, “Once we have a child, we won’t be the family that has a house cluttered with loudly colored and noisy toys.” And alas, here we are with a house littered with kids toys. I am the queen of baskets.. I use baskets that I found pretty to store toys. Large lego blocks in a woven basket on the floor, etc. The other problem I find is that we receive gifts of toys that are not pleasing to the eye. I feel much better displaying wooden toys and books! We also only put out a small amount of toys so that interest is kept and rotate them out often.
I would also love to see a home tour of a family with kids and unique toy storage solutions!!!
Ugh the marine life ones from Pehr! We saw them here in the city a few weeks ago and wanted them for my sister who is about to give birth to my first nephew. Well, thanks to this post she’s getting them. Haha!
And I echo that grown ups would love/use all these as well.
Why are babies having all the fun? I would totally buy most of these in queen size!!
literally coming here to say that! I love them all!
Same! I think adults could use more fun in their lives- the cherries make me too happy. Why not have a city themed sheet set for all ages? Paris, London, Tokyo, etc? Or sushi sheets are my personal fav (there are some out there from Roostery that are so adorable but $$). It would be so fun to gift them too. Also toddlers and younger kids need more fun options that aren’t princesses and cars. Is anyone listening?
I would love if you did a similar post like this for shower curtains! I’ve been looking for a unique, pretty, affordable and not tacky one.
I love! this one I have from Target. It feels classy but fun. https://www.target.com/p/forest-friends-shower-curtain-black-pillowfort-153/-/A-50256567?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&CPNG=PLA_Bath%2BShopping_Brand&adgroup=SC_Bath&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=c&location=9019451&ds_rl=1246978&ds_rl=1247068&ds_rl=1246978&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiILsBRCGARIsAHKQWLMrmChTYXGQJDoabapT_wSO2zVPYmxzJfBzX8p_ES_W8EJdO-81tGUaAswEEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
You should check H&M home, Zara home, and Urban Outfitters!
Target has really beautiful shower curtains
Crib sheets are super easy to make. Made Everyday has a great video tutorial. You can look for twin flat (or bigger) sheets at the thrift store for a great source for really cheap fabric to make crib sheets.
My daughter is now in a toddler bed (one rail down on her crib), and I’ve made a half fitted/half flat sheet (bottom has fitted elastic pockets, top is regular. This is so great for keeping the sheet mostly in place. I could see myself making one for a twin bed once she transitions…
Actually, we have an old golden retriever with arthritis. And because of that I use crib memory foam mattresses for him, because they are just the right size, thickness, hardness… and of course we have all sorts of animal pattern sheets for him too. :-))
OKAYYYY Shopgirl coming through with the best recommendation I’ve heard all year!
Dying at this shopgirl/ny152 convo ? so good
sooo can I ask, do american kids never have duvets in their beds? I always see very cute sheets on blogs and instagram and but never anything to put “on top” of the baby :) Here (sweden and I think the rest of Europe?) babies & toddlers generally sleep just like grown-ups do = with a duvet + duvet cover, plus a pillow in a pillow case (but in smaller sizes, obv). It’s just something I often wonder about when I see pics of babies/toddlers in their cribs, they never seem to have either a pillow or a cover on them. I do get the risk of SIDS with infants, but what about the older kids? Please help a curious Swede out :)
I think most babies wear sleep sacks/wearable blankets until age 1, and then their parents transition to a traditional blanket once they accept they no longer have to freak out about it :)
It’s mainly because our national pediatric doctors feel that babies shouldn’t sleep with covers or anything else in their cribs because of an elevated risk of death. It’s believed that they could smother themselves in their sleep unknowingly by pulling the blanket over their faces.
I took my 5 month old on a trip in Italy, and all the sweet Airbnb owners made such lovely beds with tons of blankets for my baby. I had to mess the covers up and make it look like we had used them because I felt so bad about it but, we just use a sleep sack!
Its considered dangerous to have anything in a crib with a baby bc of suffocation hazard. Sleep sacks/wearable blankets are the alternative and most folks just stick with that.
This was the perfect post to read with my eyes half open nursing my 4 day old! Now to resist the temptation to sleepily buy all of them!!
Congratulations! I hope things are going well for you ♥️
I love Burt’s Bees crib sheets. We had three different ones for my son who is now 2 and my sweet little girl (almost three weeks old and currently on my chest) has 2. They have simple styles, aren’t too expensive and are organic. Highly recommend!
So adorable! My husband just came home with these sheets for our boys’ twin beds: https://www.target.com/p/treasure-island-sheet-set-blue-pillowfort-153/-/A-53952479?preselect=75573483#lnk=sametab in case anyone is on the lookout for that size as well.
Loveee the marine theme and NYC.
For any moms looking for covers or sheets for all those baby things with limited options (boppy newborn lounger, dock a tot, any bassinet or cosleeper or crib: anything!), check out the Etsy shop Littlemoosebyliza. Sooooo many fun fabrics. I have a 4moms play yard and the bassinet sheet/bottom sheet were THIRTY/FORTY DOLLARS and the fugliest prints. Found this shop and paid the same price, but at least they’re beautiful.
Where do those adorable owl pajamas come from???
Lewis!

My wonderful mom sewed me a whole slew of adorable crib sheets (and bassinet sheets too) – I was shocked at how many super cute, super soft flannel prints there are at your average fabric store! I highly recommend that route if you or a generous loved one have the sewing skills <3
Those owl pajamas! Can you tell me where they are from?
They’re from Lewis:

I have been thrilled with my purchases from https://www.madlywish.com/ and received so many compliments. Madly Wish is run by an amazing entrepreneur with five littles and a great backstory who uses the highest quality materials. Beautiful and timeless ?
Oh gosh. Darling. May I ask where the cute owl outfit is from?

I’m always wishing they made sheets with fun patterns for Queen/King sized beds too. I’d love some alligators or sting rays. Adulthood isn’t boring, neither should our sheets be boring.
Check out Garnet Hill! They often have fun prints.
i’d love the stingrays too as an adult
Cute cute cute! My kids are six years a part and i couldn’t believe the options for crib sheets when I was pregnant with my son! So fun! I got the cutest sheets from a company called Rookie Humans.
Ooh, I’m so glad you posted this!!! I’ve been hunting for months for some sheets for my boys, and thankfully Pehr carries twin sheet sets, and I found the perfect set! You always post such adorable bedding and pajamas for kids, and I knew you’d come through for me ;)
That beach one! Genius! I have three littles and at the time we got our second crib, my parents also did because they babysit a lot (thanks, grandparents!!). We had gotten more crib sheets and I was tickled when, out of the bajillions on Amazon, my parents got the EXACT same set for their crib!
My mom came home last month from Goodwill with an outfit for my daughter that I had bought three years earlier for my first kid (also from Goodwill)! Luckily it was my favorite and I love the idea of having one to give each daughter when/if they get pregnant!
My now almost four-year old twins had the Noah’s Ark sheets in their cribs. My son went through a serious whale phase — whale stuffed animals and books, every ambiguous shape was identified to be a whale, we had Raffi’s Baby Baluga song on repeat in our house for months! I will never forget the moment of sheer delight and awe the first time he noticed that there were whales on his sheets! He just started pointing at each one shouting “Baluga, baluga, baluga!”
I’d love these for a king bed!
Same!
these mili mili sheets are the SOFTEST around! can’t resist a banana print!
