Good luck Mari! I just saw her speak last night in Melbourne with the School of Life and my friends and I just loved how warm and funny she is. I’m so glad Cup of Jo introduced me to her work!

Funny thing, I actually emailed her the other day to show her I found one of her drawings up in a child psychologist’s office (in Australia too!), it was lovely, I instantly knew the artist because I saw it first on a Cup of Jo! And got her email response about her book promotion. I wonder what cities she’s going to in Aus as I’m actually living here now.

Thanks Mari! You will be missed, I always loved your illustrations, every time I would read it I always thought you just get me.
