We’ve had heart eyes for Parachute, the home essentials brand, since it was founded in 2014. And this summer, they introduced a beautiful new line for babies — natural crib sheets, swaddles and blankets in neutral colors and patterns. To try out the pieces with a real-life baby, we enlisted new mom and Cup of Jo reader Lauren, and her four-month-old daughter, Isabel. Here’s a peek…
After using the linens for a few weeks, Lauren said the piece she loves the most is the blush baby quilt. “It adds a little pop of color to the room, without being too girly, and we have been using it for some cozy tummy time outside in the grass.” The quilt is made of garment dyed linen on the front and long-staple Egyptian cotton on the back. It’s medium weight, so you can use it year-round once your little one starts sleeping with a blanket.

Little Isabel has chosen the honeycomb-knit cashmere blanket as her favorite thing. “It’s so soft, and she loves snuggling into it,” says Lauren.

(Above, the star swaddle blanket.) “I wanted Isabel’s room to be welcoming and peaceful, knowing we’d be spending hours and hours in there together,” she said. With their soft colors and natural textures, every piece will be a staple for years.
