Have you seen One Mississippi? Inspired by comedian Tig Notaro’s life, the series follows her as she returns to her hometown and her mother dies. So far, I’ve watched the first two episodes, and they were great. Notaro is a genius at balancing humor with smart, serious themes. (Also, fellow TV lovers: Transparent’s third season debuts tomorrow.)
I don’t follow fashion week very closely, but I stumbled upon Warm’s spring collection, and it’s so, so beautiful. Created by Tracy Feith and Winnie Beattie, the line has a playful vintage vibe, and I’m digging the prints. Cannot wait to see it all next spring!
No, I’m from New York: “A kale-apple-ginger cold-pressed juice? Yeah, right. I’m from New York, where we’re given a lipstick-stained mug filled with dirty hot-dog water to carry down Sixth Avenue.”
5 rules for throwing a crappy dinner party (in the best way), including: no housework is to be done, the menu must not involve a special grocery shop, and you must wear whatever you happen to have on. Love the idea of inviting friends over and just going for it. Who’s in? :)
Hope you’re having a good week!
P.S. More fun things.
