Five Spring Shoes

After a decade of skinny-jeans-or-bust, we’re excited to wear more playful denim shapes — wide leg, culottes, etc. And they look so cute with this season’s shoes. Here are five combinations we love…

Five Spring Shoes

Boyfriend jeans + graphic sneakers. Relaxed jeans — rolled at the ankle — feel effortless, and canvas sneakers let you run around town without worrying about blisters. Just add the skateboard.

Five Spring Shoes

White jeans + slides. We’ve been spotting cool women around town wearing head-to-toe white — white tee, white jeans, white shoes. It’s such a clean look, and these slide sandals get you there with a little pop of camel color, as well. (Bag: Clare V.)

Five Spring Shoes

Trouser jeans + heeled sandals. Channel Jane Birkin in the 1970s with soft, wide-leg jeans that make your legs look miles long. Adding on-trend block heels brings the look up to 2016.

Five Spring Shoes

Culottes + dressy flats (similar pair here). People either love or hate culottes, but one great thing about them is how they put your shoes in the spotlight. Wear them with the pair you want the world to see.

Photo at top: Cotton jeans + clogs. It’s fun to wear a pop of color with vintage-style, faded jeans. Made in Sweden, these 70s-inspired clogs were so comfortable that our friend (and model) Gaby wanted to wear them home.

Thoughts? Which would you wear? And pop quiz: What kind of jeans are you wearing right now?
