Hey, I’m sewing a coat that is quite similar to the one shown.
Some boot advice for people below. Boots are always in season for me. I looked like those girls in the mid-70s as I flew off to France for university (except my long hair was red.)
Boot advice from old boot hand. I’ve had embarrassing avoirdupois problem the last two years (I just found out that it’s not my fault….we’ll see how to fix it), anyway. If anyone asks you, Joanna, about “what do I do if I suddenly (or not so suddenly) need wide calf boots.” I have become an unwilling expert.
Last late summer/early autumn I spent an inordinate amount of time & money until I finally gave in & ordered from Duo in UK. I wish I’d done it straight away. It’s also for skinny legged ladies. It will be worth it to me, even when the weight is gone, to have bought them. Jeans will fit in, etc.
So. That’s my latest unwanted advice. But I sure wish someone as popular as COJ had told me about those damn boots. (Yes, I paid duty but added to price of classic pair, it came out less than the junk sold in the States. Duo would make a fortune in the US.)
