I don’t know that legs can be considered a trend, but I do really like all the shorts and the skirts that are in style this year.
hmmmm nice idea but I don’t think I want to see everyone showing legs!!! I had to put the cutest shirt dress back on the rack this week as I couldn’t sit down, bend over or do anything but stand still without showing too much leg! after you’ve had a few children you have to draw the line!

Love showing legs with the top mostly covered. Especially since I just entered my 40’s I am loving that I can still get away with it and hoping I can for at least another 15 years.

Would I dare? Depends on how windy!! ….yup, I have dared in the past and it resulted in a lot of honking cars and whistles!
I usually wear skirts and dresses that are pretty short (as my sister would say: ‘any shorter and it’s a belt’). And underneath, I always wear a pair of my husband’s black underpants (to keep warm, and not to accidentally show people more than they need to see). One of my friends call this ‘the Superman look’.
Oh, and moving to Paris if you have pale legs won’t do you any good: when I was living there people on the street would tell me to go get a tan. I know, in France we have a bloody cheek.
this has been and is going to be my “look” for as long as i can pull it off!
i live in paris and the thing i can never figure out is how these girls manage sitting down – i do not want that much one-on-one contact with a metro seat!

Okay…I am ALL about bare legs. You can definitely make it appropriate by wearing a turtleneck or something. It’s a nice sexy balance ;)

Put some clothes on people, so I have at least a chance of figuring out what color your eyes are. Seriously, there is something that creeps me out when people where skimpy outfits in public. It’s not like they’re doing it to be comfortable!
I’ve been showing off my legs all summer, it feels weird to wear pants again…I’m almost not wanting to go back to them! So this is good news for me! At the premiere of the September Issue, I heard it was ALL legs!

Legs are DEFINITELY the new cleavage. And it’s heartening for a rather flat up top and petite girl like myself. It lengthens and adds the illusion of longer legs.
I would go short as long as I have some opaque black tights to go with! :)

If I had the right shoe I would totally rock this look. Sadly though, I can hardly ever seem to make it out of my flip flops! Oh and for the record, I love a pale leg. So much better than the whole Too-Tan-Tanny-Tannersons-From-Tan-Town look so many girls around my hood like to sport!

I don’t mind baring my legs although more often than not, I put on a pair of boots if I wear something really short. My mum has pictures from the 60s where her skirts were ridiculously short… they really knew how to bare legs back then!

I have noticed this! The girls here in Sweden wear shoes, tights and a barely-cover-the-hips shirt! Most of them look awesome and confident!!

I prefer short shorts to really short dresses. I have no problem with showing my legs, I do have a big problem with showing my crotch though!
I’ve always been a legs girl, though you’ll rarely see me showing off any cleavage. Since I hit my 30’s I don’t do super-short anymore though. Funny timing on this post because I just posted the most adorable micro-minidress on my blog this morning!

i love to show my legs… and they’re not even that great. i find that the look is sexy, but not at all sleezy. especially if you’re well covered up on top. it’s a nice balance, not to mention, surprise!

I love the photos! It seems like every pair of legs on my college campus is perfectly (if not overly) tanned. I prefer to stay out of the sun, so my legs are naturally fair. I try to tell myself that I should feel proud for not trying to look like everyone else and for embracing my natural skin tone, but in all honesty, I feel pretty self-conscious when I walk around wearing shorts or a skirt. I guess I need to move to Paris!

hah- I actually have a “no-pants club” every summer and the object is to not wear pants as often as possible :) glorious.
I read that at her site too. It mad me laugh because L. Lohan has been getting so much flack from the press about going out like that (sans bottoms or with tiny hot pants).
