It really does look like a bear but I love it. I have been watching Planet Earth, so I am totally in love with anything representing animals lately. I think it’s a very cool and interesting hallway.

I love this; I have had this picture in my idea file for a long while. It would actually be pretty inexpensive to do this. I’ve always thought they were just corbels mounted which you could find out corbels at an architectural salvage store. I will make this look happen someday :)

thank you. i have a long hallway you look down right upon entering my house. i’m emaling this to my hubbie and having him find a way to do this today, tomorrow at the latest!

Really really lovely! And the coolest thing is that i think you could do this yourself in a house that had no architectural interest—just have the wood cut, grab your nearest handy huz to mount it, then paint it the same color as the rest of the walls!
(of course it would help to have mile-high ceilings and stunning floors, but beggars can’t be choosers I suppose!)

The hallway is filled with pretty little things isn’t it? Eiffel tower replica, some sort of seashell arrangement, scooter, and that great tote. It deserves a pretty archway.
That hallway is gorgeous. I’ve slowly started liking white walls with interesting decorations, and this one is so lovely.

what i love most about this is that it looks real. like a real hallway. not a styled frou frou shot that looks great but is completely unrealistic. it looks like she actually puts her purse there.

This IS a lovely archway– but I’m troubled by the composition of it against all that shabby chic/modern furniture. Something about it is off to me. Can’t tell you what :)
