Wouldn’t it be nice to lose yourself in this garden maze, maybe with a little bread-and-cheese picnic? The gorgeous lavender plant would have such a calming scent. xo

That lavender is amazing. I have never seen one so large, although I have seen enormous rosemary plants in California. What a great garden.

Looks like a lot of the gardens in Regent’s Park – which are now under snow! Check out my 25 Best Blogs of 2009 list at: http://www.cricketwife.com/2010/01/25-best-blogs-of-2009-part-1.html

Beautiful to look at and wish for. I’m missing being outside…so I bought three huge plants for inside today. One is a rosemary topiary. Smells amazing!

It reminds me of Parque del laberinto de Horta in Barcelona, many films have been shot there, including ‘Perfume’
This looks blissful! And congrats again on the baby boy on the way — you will be such a great Mom!

I love this! Reminds me of a garden in Spain :)
I lucked out when I bought my house – the couple who lived here (for 70 years) before us were an artist (her) and an arborist/horticulturlist (him). And the family that built this house (in the mid 1800’s) ran an apple orchard on the property. We have the most beautiful flowers and trees, I love the country so much!
I live right next to a botanical garden and recommend garden walks to anyone! They’re magical! Therapy for the soul, if you will.
On a cold day in upstate NY, this picture looks especially lovely!
such a tease i need a picnic now! Bad! And a lavender garden… sigh
Mmm, lavender…I feel like I can smell it right now! Maybe it’s just that I’m really wishing I was in that garden…
Yes and right now please! I lament my urban life with only a balcony as an outdoor retreat.
If only it wasn’t winter…

Oh this is too sweet! What I would give for a home with a large yard and manicured shrubs. I would love to sit in this garden and read a book!

That is just lovely, I can hear my feet meandering through the pebble path.
That little statement has me wanting to run myself to the co-op and buy tons of my favorite cheese and eat it ALL!
Very lovely
Loving this!! I could use some tranquility right now!!!
