My dad and brother are obsessed with cars and I grew up near Detroit, so now I have a soft spot for automobiles in design. Don’t you love this trench coat lined with a Liberty car print?!

I DO love that lining!
Just so cute…I would be showing everyone the inside!
j’adore la doublure voiture
Lined trenches are the epitome of classy to me – we were looking at vintage ones this weekend and they made me feel.. old fashioned. In a good way.
Wow, I’d be tempted to wear this inside-out!
Reading this post I have to invite you to look at two posts at my blog
under the label ´Car´. Hope you´ll enjoy!
That lining is adorable. I need a new trench.
I love the car print! I love having cute prints on the inside of a jacket- it’s like a fun little secret. :)
Very cool, esp. the grosgrain ribbon.
I think the liner is my very favorite part of this coat!
This lining is great! I love touches like this. xx
It’s so strange that the lining of a coat, the lining you’ll never see when you’re wearing it, can completely make or break a coat. And this one totally makes it.
LOVE IT! i would almost want to wear it inside out….
this raincoat is amazing! my dad and brother are car-obsessed too, so they would get a kick out of this! xo
I love this – grown up on the outside, but whimsical inside. Perfect!
I’m with ya, I’m a total car babe. Classic cars make me weak in the knees! xo
I have a cute 3/4 lenght button up in that fabric. J. Crew used to sell Libery print shirts.
So fun! Love little surprises like this.
Oh yes, totally rad! I love that coat.
I want that coat! The lining is so pretty and unexpected.
I do love it! It’s absolutely darling.
That coat is pretty rad.
please magically appear in my closet … PLEASE!
sure do!
it’s amazing how much a bright lining can impact the average garment.
Super cute–love the lining!!
i’m from detroit as well and my dad works in the car industry too! perfect.
Great coat! The outside spells business, but the inside spells fun.
LOVE the lining!
What a great coat! I agree with cupcakes & Cashmere, I’d be flashing everyone to see how cool it is!
Um, yes, I’ll take two. Thx.
I’m more of a public transportation myself, but even I want this coat!
very fun.
reminds me of the inside of a where’s waldo? book.
love it!

great fabric — just saw it in blues @ Purl Patchwork in SoHo!
The lining is adorable!
Oh oh oh I am in the market for a new spring trenchcoat… And liberty prints are the BEST.
The inside of the jacket is just too cool!
yes. I love it! I was JUST trying to figure out what coat I’ll wear out the door today…not cold enough for my winter coat…this would be perfect.
I have just bought a trench..and now I want this one! What a compulsive buyer I am!
cute. :)
Lusting, lusting, lusting.
I’m sure this could be done very similarly by hand. I dare you!
Oh, it’s so amazing!
i’m not sure of the price. i’m assuming kind of a lot because the designer is super awesome. it’s sold at Lark in vancouver, so you could email them for the price: http://www.lark.me/contact.php
Do you know how much this costs?
Oh, coats with great linings always sell it for me!
I grew up near Detroit too!
I love Liberty fabrics so, so much. Great coat. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you have a *wonderful* weekend!!

Oh I LOVE that lining! Adorable. I would love that as lining in my handbag too. And the inside of my umbrella. Gorgeous!
i feel like i’d constantly be ripping open my coat to show people the interior only to be mistaken as some sort of creepy flasher.
I love it. The lining is adorable and the coat looks comfy.
So cute! I was flipping through the Liberty swatch book a couple of months ago & thought that the car print would be a good liner for a little boy’s jacket but I like it in grownup style too!
oooh! i love surprises like this!
