As I stepped into the café, I heard the Shakira song Underneath Your Clothes playing from the speakers. I couldn’t hear the lyrics clearly, but since the melody was so similar to Eternal Flame (my go-to karaoke song!), I played it again when I got home. And DAAAAAMMMMMMN the lyrics are sexy.
Some people prefer silence during sex. “I want to hear my partner whispering; I want to hear our bodies,” said my friend L. “Those sounds are a big turn on.” But others need a playlist. “We have a speaker right in the bedroom,” says poet Kate Baer, famously. “I don’t want to hear mouth sounds.”
