Would you win? By the wonderful Grace Farris.
This is so spot on for me, I have done each of these haha!
Contemplate gourds!
I think drinking a fresh hopped beer at an Oktoberfest would be on my fall card, plus a leaf crunching walk through a cemetery at night and the performance of the ceremonial and ritualistic “cleaning the gutters of the ole debris” routine.
Love this! It’s a fun way to view how life is going and gone.
I need a pumpkin candle and send a letter. :)
I’d like to attribute a few good things to (my) Scorpio season ;-)
I am totally into all these, except for the flu shot (got one many years ago and got terribly sick). I love Fall and I am a scarf girl! I wear them on an almost daily basis! We also had Provincial elections where I live and this was the first time I voted using the mail. I find it so civilized!
I get the flu shot every year. I’ve gotten very sick in the winter from time to time, but I no longer correlate the two. The influenza vaccine is a different formulation each year to combat the specific viral strains that emerge.
A person is much less likely to contract the flu after receiving the flu shot, but it’s still possible to get the flu. Because this is a somewhat common concern and perception, many studies have been done on reactions to flu shots, and there remains zero statistically significant evidence of people being made ill by the flu shot itself.
Good luck to all American this weekend as we head into next week, as you hopefully Lance the boil that is Trump. Sending love from Cape Town x
@Jess “lance the boil” cracked me up. Thank you!
I too have been doing all these things. I used to be a puzzle person but my cat gets combative when I puzzle. For some reason the action of placing pieces turns her from a sweet purrbucket into a banshee with the hissing and yeowling and ALL the teeth & claws. She also likes to sit in the box of pieces like Smaug and attack anyone who dares to remove a piece of her hoard. It’s both hilarious & terrifying. Who knew puzzling could be a contact sport! (sorry for the unsolicited cat story)
This is hilarious – cats are such weirdos. Please consider making video and sharing a link. I welcome all unsolicited cat stories and videos :)
Sounds like a video that would be purrrfect for “The Ellen Show”!
This gave me a good chuckle, as I was just this morning experimenting with scarves because it is now “cold” here in California (mid-50s) and I am a wimp. So now I’m wearing a very nicely styled scarf.
Also, this Bingo card needs a “make soup” square. Though I suppose I could recite “Double, double, toil and trouble” while making soup!
OT, Joanna, I found this, and thought about your kids- https://www.fairypenpals.com/
XO.
thank you so much, farhana!
Love this, I especially love the “consider becoming a puzzle person” I would love to do puzzles but with a 2.5yr old all i can imagine is all the pieces slowly disappearing into her various hiding places.
“Bust out the plaid” is my favorite. What is yours?
Contemplate gourds made me laugh :)
Anyone else printing this out to play?!
hahaha “read a cardigan roundup online” Are you watching me Grace Farris?
This is actually a really helpful reference ? Gotta do all the fall things!
Makes me laugh – I’ve already done 14 of these! All the pumpkin. ;) And who knew that buying new masks would be my 2020 guilty pleasure – I keep finding cute ones on Etsy to go with the changing seasons.
I love celebrating the seasons. Usually with a major flower/branch arrangement and a tasty treat along with many of the above.
