By the wonderful Jessica Olien.
P.S. Quarantine greeting cards, and a comic about infertility.
I’m a bit worried… this is going to be a longggg winter ? Love the comic!
I don’t think everyone needs to be sober but I would really encourage anyone to see just how pervasive alcohol use/abuse is in pop culture. Even this lil comic has two instances of it. There is so much more to miss and so many more ways to cope than with alcohol.
Thanks for pointing this out!
Right! When you start looking, you see it everywhere around us. I wish it wasn’t so.
But seriously darling WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WHEN IT GETS COLD OUT
SO MANY DAYS OF PEOPLE.

“what are we going to do when it gets cold out” just hits different…we’re in for a long winter y’all.
I’m so scared of winter!
PS definitely agree with this headline: https://www.thecut.com/2020/09/im-dreading-a-covid-19-winter-with-lockdowns-and-loneliness.html
Outside, no matter what! It is going to be rough for those of us up north. In preparation, I just bought everyone in my family a new, truly waterproof raincoat, and a heavy down jacket for my daughter. I spent more money than I usually would but I know we are going to need to be outside everyday seeing friends. Thankfully my kids school already had the “we always go outside” motto so nothing new for my kids. (not that they will be “in” school, just they are used to cold and wet recess) It’s me that won’t want to meet a friend for a walk in 30 degrees and sleet!
I haven’t been alone in 171 days. I just subbed kids for parents.
I’m planning (but really, imagining), a trip with my best friend to Greece :-)
That sounds amazing. I find myself following countries on Instagram these days, imagining what the future might hold for my dream of being location independent – Scotland, Iceland, England, France, Ireland, Norway…nothing is off limits.
what a dream!
