My younger one is die hard fan of Neil Armstrong and he believes he’ll be a astronaut one day. I just hanged the moon landing art on his room and he’s never been that much excited. I’d thanks for such an inspiring art :)
my son would love that dino print. my husband and I picked up this amazing print while traveling in the middle east. it was a mama (or daddy) camel with a baby camel, just sort of nuzzled. I was still in my first trimester and when I saw that print, I knew we had to get it for the nursery. my son is now almost 4 years old and it still hangs over his bed. every night when i’m putting him to bed, I look at it and it reminds me of the amazing trip we went on and how even though he was still just a teeny tiny thing growing inside me at the time, we were full of such hope for the future.

I hung the Rifle paper co. Floral in my newborn daughters room last month. That print was the inspiration for my wedding colors 5 years ago. I stumbled upon it again and realized it would serve to inspire a baby girls room too. As I was checking out online, I noticed the name of the print, Juliet, which happens to be the name we had picked out for my daughter! The coincidence warmed my heart and I’m so grateful for the smile it brings at every late night feeding and diaper change. Love you guys!

I feel like these types of prints are more for adults than children. They may fit into a certain home aesthetic, but the art that fascinated me as a child was always more visually dynamic. I remember being entranced by a vintage book cover that my parents had blown up to hang—the curly lettering, the dark colors, the intricate illustration. It made an impression.
We were thrilled to discover that the Audubon Society makes high-res prints available for free on their website! We chose a few colorful ones to print and framed them for lovely and budget-friendly nursery decor.

NASA also has beautiful hi-res posters available for free download. They are styled after vintage travel posters but instead of vising Niagara Falls they are about visiting Mars or Jupiter. They are so beautiful.

We had two of the NASA framed by Framebridge, and they hang in my two-year-old son’s room. They look great, get lots of compliments, and I think they kick-started my son’s curiosity about outer space.

They made me a print on the spot and it is now hanging in her nursery.
What a great selection. I love the clementine best! But I would say that, I’m a printmaker myself. I do love giving kids art. I did an oil painting for my friends’ son of a walrus as a sheriff (???) and had it framed in a chunky gold frame – it’s very random. And my niece acquired a giant gouache silver Princess eucalyptus painting from me for her thirteenth. But I especially love it when they gift me their art, I frame it and hang it amongst grown up art because it is every bit as good and precious!
I framed 8 of CDR’s images in my infant’s nursery (The Dinosaur is one of them)! You can download and print them yourself. Cheap(I think the digital download was $5) and so cute :)
I can’t have children, but I work in a school and one piece that’s always on display in my office is the “Ten Stories High” print by Teo Zirinis (currently on sale at Society6: https://society6.com/product/ten-stories-high_print). The colors are charming and gentler than straight-up primaries and the details engage little ones and older kids alike. My favorite? The tortoise on the treadmill (of Tortoise and Hare fame) on the 4th floor.

I’ve been saving dust jackets from children’s books since my oldest was a baby. You can either frame them individually and display as a gallery wall or create a poster size collage with them. My toddler loves to point them out during diaper changes and the big kids use them for storytelling inspiration.
Just finishing up a little nursery nook now (about to hit 39 weeks!) and I have Rifle Paper Co’s crane print up, which has gold foil and is so gorgeous — I love Anna Bond’s work. Pretending the crane is actually a stork, bringing the baby. :) In an other spot I put a little Marimekko postcard that I framed.
My daughter would always ask if we could “lie like otters” 
) – curled up on my belly. She saw a print of such this summer and asked to buy it. How could I refuse? That’s my favorite piece of art in her room.
