Great article.
Please tell me why I’m reading this in a “ghost’s” voice. LOL!!
Lol I love this. It’s so cute and relatable. The kind of spooky I like ?.
It’s like Olien has been hanging around in my head…
You should have got the ravioli :/ gosh, ravioli, chocolat, ice-creams… I have this poltergeist all the time with me hahahah
“Listen up, buster!” Ha – So true.
I usually relate to these illustrations but this one was like my exact thoughts on paper! really appreciated this!
The bills I should have paid as soon as they arrived!
Love these drawings! such a nice friday treat, thank you.
Haha! “Listen up Buster!” Totally.
Hahaha!!! I love these!!! This is my favourite Friday joke ever. Unfortunately totally relatable for me, especially the haircut, the mis-order, and the things I should have said to those who wronged me! That could be the name of my memoir! Hahaha!
Ghost of Times I Should NOT Have Eaten That Thing to Avoid Stomach Pains Later …….
Oh gosh yes!
yasssss!! totally second or third this
I’d like to add, Ghost of Things I Should Have Bought on Vacation. Farewell, burnt orange turtleneck, I should have bought in Germany ?.
And her more local cousin: Ghost of the Item I Should Have Bought at the Thrift Store. So long, vintage leather Dooney handbag…..
Those are truly haunting! It now makes me curb my underbuyer tendencies. I am wearing a scarf I bought in Burgos, Spain this summer that I almost put back. You know, because buying THREE accessory scarves for work for a total of 20 euros is just too crazy!
Oh my gosh, I found my people: the under-buyers! None of my friends will go shopping with me anymore because I look forever and never buy anything.
Oh the ghost of things I should’ve said… My comebacks come too slowly!
I used to always be jealous of whatever my husband ordered at a restaurant because it ALWAYS tasted better than mine. He has a more refined palate than me. Now I learned from my errors and just let him order both dishes and we split half half. It’s always a win, or at least the pressure isn’t on me! Ha.
The ghosts of the haircut and wasted time speak straight to my soul.
OMG the restaurant order! I work in the food industry, and used to totally school my husband when we’d go out to eat. Now he’s learned a thing or two and is the consummate orderer. I’m always jealous of whatever he gets and he loves to remind me of my former smugness.
Yeah, that retort I should have said is definitely me. I just thought up one for something that happened 17 years ago.
Haha, this is so funny and relatable ;)
Ha! cute! (always get ravioli!)
Oh, this rang true with me today! I always seem to have the ghost of the restaurant misorder.. I can’t always decide on what to order! too many options :) I wish I could taste all the food/drink before deciding!
There’s a French saying about this: esprit de l’escalier, a witty remark that occurs to you too late. I know the feeling well, haha.
