Made me laugh. By the wonderful Grace Farris.
P.S. Making new friends and winter small talk.
Love this!
I love this!! Such cute plants too.
I just read in a book about anxiety, “first, we make the beast beautiful” by Sarah Wilson (really great read btw!) that one of the kindest things we can do for those we love (who have anxiety and decision fatigue is very trying) is make the decisions. “Honey, want to go out for dinner this weekend?” “Sure.” (This is where it gets weird lol…..)
Ten minutes later… “ok, I made us reservations at the Saffron Table for 6 pm, let’s dress up!”
Did you see that?? There was no “where do you wanna go? Oh I don’t care, anything is fine. What about pizza? No we had that last time. But you said you didn’t care” Seriously, wouldn’t it be lovely to just have someone CHOOSE, and you get to show up and love it?
If you’re worried that you won’t like the choice, then YOU be the one who chooses, and make someone else really happy.
It reminds me of this…
