I was on the shopbop site last night (before seeing this post). When is the sheer-naked trend going to exhaust itself? I miss clothes.

Those are my favorite bras also! I have lucked into find them at TJ Maxx for the past couple of years, for $12-15! Even better, I have also found them in front hook. They haven’t had them recently, however. I would definitely be willing to pay more. They are the only bra I like to wear.
How is the padding in the bra? Since I breastfed my kids for a combination of 3 years- my little A cup is even less now. I’m looking for a really comfortable bra that will help me look a little more so that clothes fit better.
I ordered a pair of Madewell sandals. Tried them in the store and didn’t buy since I knew they’d go on sale soon…didn’t know that sale would be at Shopbop!

When she tentatively says “I just don’t think I can carry it off,” I hear someone saying “They don’t feel right on me.”
Knowing what is flattering on oneself is an important skill that many lack. Why prompt her to “Go for it!” when she’s noticing they aren’t her thing? Instead of going straight to the “Just another hung up woman” place, I think we should respect her for knowing when a trend doesn’t feel right. Fashion marketers don’t want us to think for ourselves, but more women should be doing exactly that.
