I came to ask for suggestions of what to do in Austin with a 1 and 3 y/o, but the other commenters already have me covered! We’ll be there for a day next week as part of a (possibly insane) RV road trip from Indianapolis to San Antonio. Wish us luck!

Whoohoo for Bitsy’s letter cookies. I’m going to confess that my son often eats them for breakfast on the way to school. Yes, I give my kid cookies for breakfast. But they’re healthier than a lot of granola bars or muffins, and for a bunch of reasons we can’t do a real sit-down breakfast (except on weekends when we make almond meal pancakes — also in letter shapes!).

I absolutely LOVE Everlane..the site has such perfect basics for every season! Also, those getaway houses look divine!

I always love your round ups. I already have my wallet out of the the wool shoes. My husband turned 40 this weekend, which he took harder than I imagined. It’s been humbling to watch him take stock of his life and turn toward our three daughters and me, and realize that he is quietly happy. I think that sometimes contentment, particularly in times like we live in, can feel vain or at least like you should be guilty. Anyway, this is my round about way of telling you that I am so grateful for the way you combine the whimsical, absurd, meaningful, and day-to-day normal that is life with marriage and kids. Hope the travel was unexpectedly easy!

So yea the Allbirds sneakers are the BEST… I have seriously talked them up so much that people think I work for them (I promise I dont!) I hope they make a white pair as well!

Joanna, your links are always so good but this weeks links are so good I’ve turned into a child with “I want, I want, I want” haha. I want the book to give to my little cousin (looks hilarious), to go on 18 group vacations to try out all of the amazing houses, the wool sneakers (I’m hoping for Aus shipping sometime soon), the linen shirt and a piece of cute art. Is that too much to ask for?? Oh and that dancing clip is awesome, I’m also now wanting to take ballet lessons too haha. Enjoy Austin and I hope the flight went well!

Hmm, at least unicorns were sort of real at one point in time. I’d like a sparkly, glittery one with wings, though. ;)
