The other night, I needed a break from these little stinks, adorable as they are, so Alex put them to bed while I embarked on a long walk around the neighborhood. Earlier that day I had heard about a podcast called Mortified, which features people reading embarrassing things they had written as kids — diaries, poems, fan letters, you name it. It sounds random, but as soon as I started listening I was hooked.
While wandering down the street, past people walking dogs and couples sharing ice creams, I started laughing uncontrollably at a story of a teenager writing to Katharine Hepburn. I’m sure I looked like a total crazy person but it could not be helped.
