Eeep! Totally adorable!! Can’t believe he’s in school…my little man is going to school in the Fall…time flies. What a sweetheart!

That is a seriously adorable picture! I love how they used the book case as the background.

That is THE perfect school picture. It is usually hard to get a genuine-looking smile from a child when they’re asked to pose, in my opinion. I think they tend to associate smiling to showing their teeth, so sometimes (or most of the time) when you ask children to smile, they are trying to respond to our request, but it very often ends up more like a dentist check-up picture than the capture of happy moment. But this picture of Toby… simply UNIQUE! <3 :)

You know, I’ve often felt like we lead parallel lives… two little boys, similar interests and observations about marriage, career, women’s issues etc. But the fact that I JUST received my son’s first school picture last night has me convinced. I want to eat them up, sooo adorable! While I’m at it, I’ll add that you should seriously consider Seattle as a new hometown. I grew up on the east coast and took the plunge eight years ago. I’ve never looked back – I completely fell in love with this city. Move here and I’ll even be your new best friend, score! :)

Did you cut his hair yourself? It looks great! I saw your post recently about your friend’s haircut demo. It was extremely timely, as I’ve been thinking about taking the plunge and cutting my son’s hair at home as well. My own stylist friend is giving me a demo today!
