First time commenting on your blog, but definitely not the first time reading it! I always look forward to your weekend list of links… Just wanted to note that Deborah Tannen’s relationship book is definitely very interesting and a worthwhile read! I was required to read it in a general communications class at UCLA and many of its lessons have stuck with me years later down the line! Check it out and keep up the great work :)

I also appreciate the hearing loss link. I think it’s important for people to get educated about taking care of their hearing and learning what options are available to them. I can’t wait for the day when hearing aids are viewed like glasses, an everyday and sometimes fashionable accessory.

Thanks for sharing that NPR article about what hearing loss sounds like! I always look forward to your Friday links for great finds around the web, and reading through/hearing that NPR post was really informative. My mom has progressive hearing loss, and learning more about it always helps me understand what she is going through better.
