I always use lovely postcards that my family and friends have sent tome or that I have bought on holiday. :)

so many kindle users! i too still have books. i like the tangible quality, and i admit i’m too lazy to use a bookmark or even TP; i just fold over the page. what are your favorite books? do you ever read “self-help”? i just wrote an entry on “books we’re embarrassed to read” –

i use small notes and gift tags as bookmarks. some are so pretty and i love to be reminded of people who are special to me. also when i’m out of town and have time, i love to browse independent bookstores. most of them have custom complimentary cardstock bookmarks by the register and they are a great momento of places i’ve been. xo!

i love the book hook! i currently use bookmards. i probably have about 50 of them.

This is beautiful but looks like it might destroy the book’s spine.

Before my Kindle, I dog-eared my pages. I know a lot of people hate that, but I think it’s a sign of a well-loved book!

That’s amazing! I always seems to put some old post-its to bookmark and it’s really stressful!

I’m in the not-on-the-spine camp. This looks like it would wreck a book.

i saw this same book hook photo online a few months ago and my step-dad (a carpenter) made me one! i use it ALL the time. my boyfriend started stealing it so much he made us another!

Oh man, please don’t ever store a book like this! You would completely destroy the spine.

I love it. Plus it would probably inspire me to read all the classics I keep meaning to read since it’d be on display.
