Great info. I like all your post. I will keep visiting this blog very often. It is good to see your website.
Paris is the most incredible I’ve ever visit in my whole life!
Undoubtedly, the writer is absolutely right.
This can’t truly have success, I feel this way.
Goodness, there’s so much useful data here!
I’m seriously packing my bags and heading to Norway right this moment!
Makes me even more excited to head to Paris next week! Only three nights, but I’ll take it! Meanwhile, my favorite place in the world… doesn’t exist yet. It’s my soon-to-be apartment with the Boyf!
We’re heading to Paris on Saturday for one week there and one week in Ireland. Can’t wait! Any suggestions on fashions to pack would be welcome.
Perfect picture of Norway Sarah, congrats!
Hey, as to the photo credits: I am the girl who took the picture on top! Took it while travelling through Norway this May, it’s in Gudvangen. My name is Sarah Schug

The lake is a perfect spot for a romantic date!
Hei! (As we say in Norway) I´m norwegian and I found you blog while googling Emersonmade (just adore her stuff :) and I was so proud when I saw “Wanderlust”. Norway is beautiful. The southern part is ocean and beach, the western part is high mountain and bluegreen fjords. The north i s spectaculere with the northlight in winter and sun all night long in the summer and the east were I live is shopping ;) Have a nice summer where ever you are and keep up this feelgood blog!
Finland…. I wish I was in Finland, by the lake, at midnight in July when it never gets dark.
I want to go to Capri, Italy! I love both photographs..
me and my hubby are currently lusting a month long journey around France. Paris, Provence, and the riviera. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.
Connecticut, I love it there it’s like my second home!
I SO want to go to Norway! And to Copenhagen. Did you know that Copenhagen came top in the Happiness index. I want to go over there to see what all the fuss is about! Oh, and to have a Danish pastry or two..
I would be in Norway! My dad just got back from visiting where my family is from. Oh how I wish I was able to go to the farm my ancestors grew up on!
Paris never leaves the list, but I’d also love to go to Sweden, which I’ve fallen in love with thanks to a number of wonderful blogs by Swedish artists/designers.
Iceland! I dream of the day I can go to Iceland. I hope it will happen within the next year or so.
For the first time ever, Morocoo is at the top of my list!! I crave exotic food, days of lounging and market visits. Do any of you have any (reasonably priced) hotel/resort recommendations?
Chile & Brazil!
I visited my sister in Copenhagen years ago, and we took a few days to go to Oslo. I’ve been dreaming about going back to Norway (and now that I’m employed after a year and a half in grad school, am finally saving!). My plan is to take a boat trip up the coast to Tromsø (inside the Arctic Circle!).
Northern California is on the list, too…and probably much more doable!
I love hearing about where people want to go. I’m not a big traveler, but when I get the bug, it’s bad!
Have a good weekend!
mindi
Edinburgh and then Glasgow.
Bruges, Belgium!
Anywhere in Italy, otherwise, somewhere with an amazing beach and a hammock, or somewhere in the mountains with a lake.. similar to the one at the top. Remote.
SOmewhere where there are no people, they are mean :(
xx
Today I would go (I would return exactly speaking) here:
Paris and anywhere in Italy, oh to be going on holiday!
xox
new york new york…
I would love to be in Vienna right now – the city of my dreams, my heart, my soul. It’s so incredibly beautiful there, the architecture is breathtaking. And I like the people there, their sense for old traditions and behaviour and they have a good sense of humour. I wish I could live there. Unfortunatly with a one-year-old, yet unfinished studies and hushand with a large network in Berlin, it’s not that easy to move from here to Vienna.
But maybe one day… I keep on dreaming :)
I should say Oslo since I am moving there in just over a month but I really do have to admit that I would go to Iceland if I could go anywhere.
I really love the little glimpses of Scandinavia in your posts, please drop by my blog if you are interested in Nordic culure :)
Where in the world would you go?
It is a special post for me! I am a Parisian and I live in Norway since 18 months! I was sure that your first picture was from Norway. This country is so beautiful. Come to see it!
And the funny thing: guess where I will go in vacation this year… SAN FRANCISCO! I am already making notes with your post on SF. I am looking for a nice and cheap place to rent for few days in San Francisco late august to enjoy this city for the first time. Any ideas?
Best from Norway!
Just Gorgeous!
That amazing picture of the fjord view makes me want to visit Norway again! Maybe a Europe adventure is in my future :)
i think id have to say sri lanka :) especially since we are living so close to it right now!
When I studied abroad in France, I went full-tilt on l’expérience Française. I had the Amélie haircut and a navy blue wool overcoat that I wore with big Frenchy scarves everyday. The crowning moment of my time there was walking past a beautiful Parisian building just like this one while two trumpet players leaned out of the window playing the Amélie theme song. Priceless!! Perhaps it was even that very building. {swoon!} Thanks for sharing, Joanna! xo
This is where I’m at (in my mind!):

Paris, little town in Croatia, New York :)
At the moment I would go to Seattle Washington. I need a place where there’s no humidity!
I would love to take my entire family – my husband and baby boy, my parents, my brother’s family and sister’s family to Gordon Lodge in Wisconsin! We went alone and pre-baby a few years ago and I would love to go back, and share it with everyone.
I love those images! I have such wanderlust too.
I would go to Paris, and then visit my old host family from my college study abroad days in Avignon in the south of France.
But first I would go to Jamaica where we’re going on our honeymoon in a week! Whoohoo!!
I’m going to El Salvador for a week with my youth group (we leave tonight)! I’m admittedly pretty nervous, but also really excited to meet the Salvadorans, learn more about their history, eat delicious pupusas, and take lots of pictures. If I were to go on another trip, I’d love to go to Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Iceland or back to the UK… Traveling is amazing.
after visiting italy, i couldn’t imagine going to paris.
after paris, i fell in love with south america…
i can’t imagine what’s next…
I would love to go to Tuscany – although that picture of Paris is tempting!
Paris. In a heartbeat. My family went there four years ago, and I’d go back in an instant.
xo
n
Iceland, Maine, and Oman or Saudi Arabia :)
Where is that in Norway, does anyone know! I’m planning a trip and NEED to go there!
I love Paris the most, but I’d really like to go to a little town called Hallstatt in Austria. Looking over the lake with a bottle of wine.
YES PLEASE x
I am dreaming of going to Ireland, Scotland and Wales. My grandfather came over from Wales as an infant… I would love to visit the village my ancestors are from.
Anywhere but here in Phx, forecast says it will be 117 degree tomorrow. That’s just not right!! Really wishing we had a pool right now!
Spain is calling my name. I would love to jet to Sevilla and soak up the hot southern Spain sun next to el Rio Guadalquivir. Ah, I’m there already.
Tokyo – to revisit old haunts and drink whisky with friends
I’ve just returned home this week from visiting both Norway and Paris, so I’m going to relive my wanderlust through my photos now!
I’m going to South Africa Saturday so I get to live out my wanderlust! Plus it is winter there so getting a break from the 100+ heat we’ve been having will feel like heaven.
I would love to go to Koh Samui, Thailand or Sao Paulo, Brazil!
Oops, I think it’s the Opera (I recognize the little black portal across the street)! My mistake…
Hi Joanna, French reader here ! Is this l’Ile Saint Louis on the second photo ? Right now, I’d love to be in Corsica, in the beautiful village of Bonifacio to be more specific…
P.S : Love your blog !
What a delightful post. I love short sweet posts like these, they’re my favourite.
Paris is absolutely always on my mind…even before you posted this gorgeous photo. I long to travel there someday♥ But I’m also really dreaming of NYC (which you are lucky enough to live in!!) and California.
xoxoxoxo
Oh I need to go to Norway! I’d love to hunt down my relatives. :)

I hear the Croatian coast is a dream and not too touristed.
I had a few friends from there at college and they were just the right mix of casual and funny if all croatians are the same it could be a splendid time.
See you there!
i love new york city, i would like to be right now strolling its amazing streets
Finland. It’s my dream in life to travel there. The way of life is just so simple. Good food, loving people, and simple living.
p.s. The woman’s sweater in the top photo is making me long for cool, late summer evenings.
i love paris so much! i want to go back everyday all the time! would also take any sort of tropical island right now! :)
i want to go to poland, and back in time a couple of weeks ago to see their solstice lanterns go up in the air!
I would go wherever my beloved is located. Right to his doorstep!
Although I’m sure it would be an awkward meet-cute.
beautiful photos! plus: it’s always funny to see german words like wanderlust or kindergarten in english texts.
many greetings from germany, nora
As much as I would love to go to a place Ive never been, like Greece or Norway, I know I would end up choosing somewhere I made a home before and loved and miss…probably the Italian and French riviera. Esp if its summer time. *sigh sigh sigh*
I’d like to go back to Oxford, England with my husband. We both studied abroad there before we knew one another. I’d like to go to Alsace-Lorraine and visit my French cousins. Then I’d like to somewhere along the coast in Italy. How about Argentina as well? I could go on and on!
South Africa.
We just landed in Alaska yesterday. I spent my morning stomping through the woods looking for a moose with my tot in a cool 60 degree breeze with a beautiful view of the mountains!
Best,
Tina
