I have had good luck getting them for less than retail online ($40 from Amazon), but the availability is unpredictable. I used to buy the Tennis Nils until it became less popular and harder to find.
I highly recommend. They go with everything. If you add an insole, they are no worse than wearing sandals or flip flops around for sure.
P.S. My foot is narrow, and I have had better luck with the lace up styles.

Je suis française (I’m French) and I have 2 pair : one with lace and the other with slip-one ! It’s not expensive and we can wear with every clothes ! But be careful when it’s rain ! ;)

I bought my first pair 2 years ago in Paris…I saw a bunch of young Parisian girls running towards a shop yelling about some shoe sale. Turns out the Bensimon shoes were half off!
I bought a pair of army green lace ups and they are my favorite shoes for Summer. I have to go back to Paris for some more Bensimon sales ;)

I started living for the first time in Toulouse, France for my Masters, last september.
I travelled with a new converse, they were the only pair of shoes with me. It turned out they were small, made my feet sore, and couldn’t keep walking with them all day.
So I went on my first days, with my very small student budget, shoe hunting. I found the Bensimon (I didn’t know they were called that :) I thought they were cute, and got them because they were the cheapest shoes I could find here (20 euros).
Love them, and wear them almost everyday, mostly to go to the park :)
yup, a grey lace up pair. although i can’t comfortably wear them right now since i’m 8 months pregnant. it’s tough lacing them up right now too!! haha. back to the brikenstocks and worishofers.
I can’t believe I’m the only one who feels the elastic on top of the shoe is WAY too tight. I tried to stretch them, wear them for long hours, nothing works. Too bad because they are cute. Then I got a pair of the Liberty lace ups and one of them has a defect on the white rubber tops that hurts my toe. Maybe it’s just my luck.

I just got one when I was in Paris last month!! It became my everyday walking all-day shoes all over Spain. Cant believe how comfy it is. Now i wish I bought another pair. I got the right one in the second picture :)

I have purple ones with laces and the coral colored slip ons. The coral is beautiful. So cute. They go with everything. Love them even more than my Toms.
The soles in mine wore out after wearing them for about two weeks. I didn’t even do that much walking in them, really– just errands around town and a handful of short dog walks. I was bummed because they’re so cute and somehow look more delicate with skirts than any other canvas summer shoe I’ve owned. Did anyone else have bensimons that fell apart way too fast? I want to think mine were an anomaly and that they usually last longer!!

I love the idea of Bensimons (because I don’t own a pair yet)! They look so elegant, though I prefer how they look with shoelaces. These shoes are definitely on my “wish-list.” :)
My father would buy us (my sisters and I) a pair of those when we went to France in the summer and realized we forgot our sneakers! Shoes of my youth! Maybe I’ll get another pair soon, though I tried them on recently and realized they didn’t quite flatter my size 10 feet.

I got a pair at Madewell last summer and they became my walking shoes when I went to Greece and Turkey this past August! They were great for all the walking I did- and they’re still a little dusty from the Acropolis! I love when my shoes tell a story :)

These are perfect! I’ve been looking for a sneaker I can wear with dresses while roaming the fields in England this summer. Besides, I can also wear my little nude socks and they wont show. Bonus!

did you know that they make them for kids as well? so next year you and Toby could have matching shoes?
I really like the laceless Bensimons – it’s true there’s no support, but I can usually do quite a bit of walking in them without any trouble. I’ve found they go best with capri pants and skirts; something about the thinness of the shoe looks a little strange (on me) with full-length pants or shorts.
I think that, for the quality, they’re a little overpriced at $50+, but now that so many online stores carry them I can usually find a deal for $30 or under if I look around (and wait).
I bought my yellow Bensimons after reading your old post about them. <3 They are so comfortable I wear them more than flip flops. Can walk in them all day, and I love that they don’t look immediately recognizable (Toms, Converse).
I’m a 6.5 and have a size 37. They were snug at first but now have stretched out a bit and feel great.
