Toby has about as much hair as my 10-month-old little lady. I love when babies look so baby-ish. And I love when babies giggle. Is there anything sweeter? No.

Dear Joanna, I read your blog very regularly, never commented.
I am a mum of a 2 year old boy and we live in Amsterdam. I just wanted to let you know that as my boy gets older, I can still sometimes see his baby-shape (you captured Toby’s so strikingly in this beautiful, touching pic)in his little-boy-shape. Time truly flies.
The first year, or 18 months, are so intense and they really wore us out (Simon wakes up so friggin’ early every morning, ever since birth). Now things have settled down and we find ourselves with a walking, talking (beautiful, happy,healthy, funny) 2-year old.
What I want to say (in so many words) is; don’t forget to cup your hand around those little cheeks as often as you can, and sniff his little neckhairs. All too soon he’ll forbid you to.

OHoh. You should get this as a silhouette — a total keeper. There are not enough kisses in the world for these little critters.

This is surely one of my top three Toby photos (my other two favorites are the one with the wolf hat and the sunglasses/taxi cab pants). He’s just so cute!
