Oooh, I just stumbled upon Modaspia, a beautiful etsy clothing shop. I’m especially loving the French tee and floppy wool skirt. So understated and gorgeous, don’t you think?

I know that this comment comes waaaay after the original post, but I just received my french tee from Moda Spia. And I am absolutely floored by how light and luxurious the fabric is. Also, the designer is a lovely person and it’s obvious that making environmentally-friendly, beautiful things that make people happy is her #1 priority. The french tee will be perfect for my Paris trip this year! :)

I question how any sane woman would not love Etsy. This skirt is beautiful, and there are so many more where this one came from.

This is great! Maybe it’s because you were born in Paris but whenever I see a striped anything I think of you. Random, I know.
I love it all!
I love this shop as well. i just featured this shop and the owner on my blog – a background interview as well
i bought the french tee about two months ago (black with narrow grey stripes) and i have only taken it off to wash it. it’s comfortable and well made (it has a little more stretch in it than i prefer, but just so folks know!). lovely.
cheers,
mindi
Oh my, every piece is darling! I love the feminine simplicity.
yes! I have been eyeing that Fiji dress for too long.
i love the skirt! thanks for passing this on!
Love it. I am so ready for spring – I am dying to wear skirts and dresses.
Oh my gosh, I love her dresses!!! I’m on a clothing-buying hiatus at the moment, but I think I might have to set aside some money in the near future for one of the fiji dresses!
Wow, I love everything (and it is so inexpensive for being so beautiful and handmade!)
haha, elysa, only one long-sleeved shirt, and one tank top, funnily enough! :)
I love the French tee too…

I got a french tee from her shop. It’s sooo soft and, hello, stripes?! Love it! I always kind of want everything she makes.
oooh! pretty! I’m going to have to start shopping there!
I own a number of her pieces and they’re all lovely. Looking to shop her again soon, too!
Oh, I agree! Magnificent work. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers.
Oooo I like french tops like that!!

She’s wonderful! Knits are so hard to sew with. I just got a book on how to work with them, hopefully I can make a few things as cute as the ones in her little shop!
