What a bright and beautiful house in London. I’d love to move right in and start working on my British accent. (The giant Penguin book-cover-cum-artwork is fantastic, don’t you think?)

dream house <3
My wife has just bought me a Harland Miller “The Mancunian Candidate”. Only thing is it’s so huge I don’t want to use up so much wall! Maybe I could place it under a glass sheet and have it as a table?
The space is gorgeous, but if I had to pick just one room, it would be the bathroom. I can see myself in a bubble bath, candles lit, looking out the window.
I always love an open bath tub, this home is heaven!!
amazing light in this house. gorgeous, too :)
love the light and big windows. lovely post.
gorgeous. ;)
I live just round the corner from this place, you’d have no idea it was there (which is what I love about London), it’s so beautiful and oh, the light! Perfect for any moody London day!x
What a beautiful home. I would life in a shack if it meant living in London. It is one of my favorite cities.
gorgeous home indeed, and while I DO love the penguin artwork (it’s massive!) My eyes are on that bathtub!

Hi,
I recently found you blog and wanted to say hi, it’s lovely. I LOVE this house too.
Trudi X
thank you so much, c lynn!!!
That flat is so lovely – you know, I ride my bike down that street all the time, I should start peering through people’s windows more often.
I don’t know about the Penguin ones in particular but I know one of my favourite second hand bookstores in London, Skoob off Russell Square (skoob.com) sells these great vintage book cover posters… I have a couple from them, they are great. They also sell them on ebay:

The V&A shop (here: http://www.vandashop.com/section.php?xSec=195&navlock=1) also has some vintage book cover posters but I’ve never seen the penguin ones there either.
I have seen the occasional bit of gift-wrap with a penguin cover on it, but apart from that it’s just the mugs and cute bookbags and so forth… you can get those here: http://www.artmeetsmatter.com/products2.php?cat=11 but i’m sure you have seen them before!
But these Penguin postcards come out soon, I can’t wait! Have you seen them? If I can part with them, I will love choosing what to send to whom!

So fresh, crisp and modern. Definitely my kind of interior!! Love it.
Love the clean, airy feel!
I live in London and have just moved flats to a place that has the highest ceilings imaginable! Not exactly something to complain about but embarking on ‘Project cozy’ in my new home. Love the ladder by the bookshelf in the first image. Inspired me to embrace the high ceilings and search for an old ladder to varnish!
I love everything about it!
lovely!!!! i absolutely love it. london is incredible.
OMG! You’re on a SHIRT!!! :)

(More on topic: I want to live there. A lot.)
I’m loving all the floor-to-ceiling EVERYTHING! Book shelves, art, windows — love it all!
Oh I am in love with that bath area!
Does anyone know where you can buy Penguin prints such as the one featured in this post?
Every single thing about that home was amazing! So bright and airy… I love that! And I love how they have vintage pieces mixed in. Beautiful!

I adore those old Penguin prints. I need one for my own apartment.
Ooh, everything is so bright, airy, and crisp. Loving this living space! :)
Floor to ceiling bookcases are my DREAM. Gorgeous home. xo

I want one like this!
Yes, that penguin cover is genius – and I love the tall bookstacks beside the windows – good use of tight space.
LOVING this entire house… How awesome are those builtins in the first picture???
Fantastic! I’ve always wanted to have bookshelves from floor to ceiling that require a ladder :) I love that fireplace as well…oh, and the freestanding tub! :)
It’s beautiful — and I love the book cases!
The bedroom is fantastic, all that light and the big windows! Love it all!

The Penguin print you mention is from artist Harland Miller.

this is a beautiful flat! definitely about a million times the size of our current studio in islington. but hey, to be living in london!
Stunning! I often wonder how people put something so fabulous together…
Swoon. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that bath! I also love all the space, that’s one thing Dutch homes are missing!
