Luckily, Paris is still beautiful in the rain.
“Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.” — Langston Hughes
Breitling Watches have had a long historical association with the air industry, both military and civilian. When Breitling Aeromarine was first established its main business concern was making precise counters for both scientific and industrial use. Its specialized knowledge of making precision timepieces made it a watchmaker that would be in demand from the then, fledging aviation industry. The relationship between aviation and Breitling Windrider was officially established when, in 1936, the British Royal Air Force issued Bentley 6.75 to its aircrews.
But what did it add to Christian Louboutin Sale image? Although the clothes looked luxurious and beautifully made, they followed the Christian Louboutin Pumps brand’s early trajectory toward the Eurotrash crowd. You might find young women in the Christian Louboutin Boots and maybe in the tricksy little Christian Louboutin Sandals in a Madrid night spot
Have you met Coach handbags yet? This classy lady is livin’ large! She is lightweight and trim. In fact she is pretty cool! Did you know that the first handbag designed for Coach Bonnie was prompted by a brown paper Coach Ergo ? Since 1962 the inspiration for Coach Wristlet , purses and totes has not changed much.
looks fabulous. hope you have a cute umbrella!
Wow!!! That first picture is so lovely!!!!!
that first image is utterly poetic :)
I will take Paris any way I can get it!
Definitely. It wasn’t until I lived there that I learned how much it really rains in Paris. A lot more than people think(!) Hope you have a great trip.
Wow! I got chills when I saw the Paris in the rain picture because I had a dream recently that looked IDENTICAL to that!
I’m writing you from Paris and I can tell that you don’t need to worry. Sure, it won’t be as sunny as it was today, but even if there will be rain, it still will be good. It is rare that it rains all day long and temperatures will be warm. You can spend a lot of time in museums or cafés, that’ll be nice. And as you will be staying 9 days you will catch some sun later, promised. Have a nice stay in Paris. Bisous
WOW!! the first photo. So dark, and beautiful, and perfect perspective (esp through a rainy window).
so jealous!
Yes, Paris is still beautiful in the rain, and now your footwear dilemma is solved — wellies :)
Mmm, yes indeed.

That’s a shame, because the weather has been wonderful in Paris (and Northern Europe) all week… Rain for the weekend AND for your trip, tssss!
You’ll have a wonderful time no matter what the weather — we did when it rained while we were there! Believe me, you’ll hardly notice, there’s so much to see and do. Have a great trip!

I spent an entire weekend in rainy Paris and it was fabulous. It’s one of those cities that feels different every time you visit. The rain will just make it feel fresh.
Have a lovely time. xoxoxo
wow. i love that quote.
Hello Jo. Just dropping in to say I’m a big fan of the blog. Hope you have a très fabuleux time!
Wow, that top photograph is incredible…such a scary/gorgeous vibe going on! It must be so pretty at night there when it rains with all the lights!
I remember being in Paris in the rain. What I appreciated the most is that they continue to walk slow and enjoy themselves. So miss it.
I have a similar photo I took like the top one, I think I will pull out the memories again.
xx
just think how much fun it is to kiss under an umbrella!
i love the rain. enjoy your time there. wish i was there too!
Thanks for posting this. There’s something so serene and graceful about a rainy day. It almost makes time stand still.
You know, my husband loved Caillebotte painting so much that I got it for him as an anniversary gift. I had a huge print framed and it’s hanging in our dining room.
J’adore the rain!
I just love that Caillebotte painting. One of my favorites! and your photo is equally beautiful. what’s not to love about paris?
your comments are actually making me GLAD that it’s going to rain! thank you!!
If it rains there, you should dance in it! How often does someone get to dance in Paris in the rain?
Paris, in any weather, is eternally beautiful…my friend and her husband are going there in a few days too!
Lovely pictures. I love Langston Hughes!
That top photo is stunning…the lowering sky, the dark edges on the world, the moodiness.
I think the rain is romantic, especially in such a beautiful city as paris. Just think of rushing around underneath an umbrella all crushed together. I have to say that the rain is one of the things i miss most about living in the desert of the UAE. It’s just so calming, and yes, romantic.
~ one of my favourite quotations ~
A slow train

in the rain
is my kind of
pleasure
and pain.
Oh, I adore that Caillebotte painting; every time I go to the Art Institute, I have to stand in front of it for many minutes. And you’ll get to experience that! Lucky girl; I hope you have a wonderful time!
